  1. I don’t currently have the money to spare, I can always upgrade for less in the future
  2. That sounds great and I’ve used a PC that had one but it’s not that big of a deal to me. Thanks though!
  3. Of course not but if a quieter PSU is more expensive then I would suffice for a better one that isn’t as quiet, you know?
  4. How about the Supernova g3 550w that strmfrmxmn recommended?
  5. Thanks, I think I’ll go with that motherboard and ram instead
  6. I don’t see why I would need an SSD. This build is solely for use with the Vive which plays at 90hz. I chose a 1080 as I would only assume that, when overclocked, would perform better than an over locked 1070ti. I need the case for the handles.
  7. Thanks, I already have a 1080 and an i5-8400, but I was wondering what kind of power supply would suffice for this build
  8. Hey! I’m looking for some advice here- what kind of power supply would you guys recommend for a GTX 1080 w/ i5-8400? Here is my PCPP list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ngfdD2 I was considering OC’ing my 1080, but I’ve never attempted it before. Also, a MicroCenter employee recommended at least a 600-650w PSU but I was thinking more along the lines of 550... What do you think? Oh, and what brand? I’m really maxing my budget right now so I’m really not trying to spend big. plshlp
  9. Wow this is fantastic, thank you!
  10. Remember, “as is” could mean anything. Could be in great shape. Could be broken. It also doesn’t hurt to ask why they’re selling it, in person. Most people aren’t great actors, so if there is something wrong with it (if they’re lying) you might be able to tell. That’s my two cents. Good luck!
  11. Wow thanks!! I really appreciate you taking the time to make a list for me. I have a few questions if you don’t mind, though. Would an i7 not be so useful in VR, for the most part? I’ve seen some people say an i5 would suffice but I chose an i7 initially to be on the safe side. But again, I’m using this system for nothing else but VR applications. Also, do I need two storage devices? Couldn’t I suffice without the HDD? And what difference would it make having a Micro ATX over a Full ATX? I don’t mean to bombard you with questions, I’m sorry. I really do appreciate your help!
  12. I just added it https://pcpartpicker.com/list/vwnZfH
  13. The US and I’m trying to keep it closer to 1,200
