  1. I'm looking to add an access point into my garage to get better wifi signal but don't want to run ethernet cable from my house to my garage, some advice on what to do would be awesome.
  2. Okay, so instead of having a ssd just use the m.2 and hdd for SMR and storage?
  3. So i want to set up a storage system for my PC that uses a 500gb m.2 ssd as a boot drive, a 1tb m.2 nvme (already have) as a cache drive, and 4-10tb hard drive as my main storage. Is there any issues or improvements with this setup? Also i need suggestions for what hard drive to use. My budget is about 400$ USD if any changes are suggested.
  4. I forgot to add that and yeah I think I'm out of luck on this ine
  5. So I've been scavenging the internet looking for a NZXT H1 case and I havent had any luck, so basically I'm just putting out feelers to see if anyone has spotted one for sale from a retailer in the USA.
  6. Stardew valley with a friend and generally nothing too power hungry, dont plan on playing Escape From Tarkov or Stellaris on it since that might break something
  7. I'm in the market for a laptop for general use and light to medium gaming. I have a budget of $750 USD and what I'm looking for is 13.5"+ screen size, battery life isnt as important, FHD IPS panel is preferred but mainly a FHD panel, touchscreen with stylus support is also preferred but not very important. Currently I've been looking into a refurb Surface Book with the performance base but I'd like something newer with a little more power for if I need it.
  8. Started using Grafana as a multi monitoring tool for my system and couldnt really understand their dashboard building setup and was wondering if anyone build a dashboard that is clean and simple.
  9. @joshfrog fixed it and got it working
  10. Still a newer build didnt lose anything really important just time
  11. Oops well looks like I'm installing a fresh copy of windows
  12. @joshfrog So umm I horribly screwed something up and now my pc cant find my host OS great...
  13. @joshfrog Okay so far i have partitioned a section of my 1TB drive to a smaller 100GB partition just for the Ubuntu system to keep filles from getting jumbled is that a good idea?
  14. @joshfrog I am using Windows 10 Home
  15. Currently running Windows 10 on my PC and I have been wanting to figure out how to run both Windows and Ubuntu at the same time with either both OS displaying at the same time on one monitor or having the ability to quick swap between both OS. I want to learn how to run Ubuntu more then I already do and i don't want to cannibalize my system and lose most of it's usability just to expand my knowledge by a small amount.
