Learned Robb's Achievements

  1. I've had a Legion laptop for 2 years now (yes, it isn't a slim & light model, I know..), and I've no complaints about build quality or reliability.
  2. It is exactly this. I'm in the UK, and I know some folk who sell stuff online, and they flat out refuse to ship to Italy due to the far higher than usual volume of lost/stolen parcels compared to the rest of the EU.
  3. If you want proper lag free sound, get some decent wired headphones with a 3.5mm jack. BT audio has its uses (works great for listening to music from my phone when I'm out and about), but will always be susceptible to interference and potential lag.
  4. Fortnite. WoW. GTA V Online. 3 examples. And as for making games being a profit making business? Sure. But if I've already paid out £60/$60 for the game, they should be making money from that. If they have to push microtransactions, their business model is broken.
  5. Limited colour palette, and saving valuable cartridge space. Early NES carts only had 40k total rom available, and only a small part of that was useable for graphics. *Edit* a standard 40k NES cart used 8k of that space for character graphics. 8k.
  6. I picked up a cheap Meta Quest (original). Hook it up to a PC and it treats it just like a Rift/Rift S
  7. Mine was an old 386 sx25. 1mb RAM, 3.5" disc drive, 40mb HDD, 1mb VGA graohics card. Ah, memories.
  8. Hey, I'm new on here, so I thought I'd just say hi, and drop some info on myself: I'm Robb. I'm 39 and married with no kids. I've been away from the PC thing for a few years, butbhave recently come back thanks to buying a reasonably decent laptop (Acer Nitro 5 core i5 model).
  9. Apple "fanboys" will never accept that their beloved company can do any wrong. Apple could literally demand a blood sacrifice to purchase a new Apple product and most of them would do it without batting an eyelid.
