    It's just how tri/quad SLI works.  You need one set of fingers for 2 cards and then the other set of fingers for the other cards.  Probably some bandwidth splitting thing.

    Yes, it would work just fine.  You can probably find someone to give you a 2-way flexible bridge for free, because every video card comes with one.

    It's an MSI Aero heatsink, which points it in the direction of a 1070 or 1080.
     
    Honestly, the best way to find out would be to take off the heatsink and look at the GPU core itself and read what that says.
     
    Going by the power connector, I would guess at most a 1080.

    looks like some msi card. try searching that number on the sticker. I'm almost certain it's an MSI Aero GTX 1080
