  2. It's a new monitor, so I'm not sure about the damaged port.
  3. It's not loose, I sent in an RMA to newegg about the cable. I'll report back when its returned.
  4. I have a Dell M6600 Laptop with a Quadro 3000m GPU and a Dell S2340M Monitor which is connected to the laptop with a port replicator (e-port). The display works fine while connected to the VGA output the port replicator provides, however I wanted a better display quality on the monitor, so I bought a DVI cable instead. When the DVI cable is connected, the display works fine...but when I "use" the laptop more the display loses signal for 1-3 seconds then comes back, when I'm gaming the display disconnects and reconnects indefinitely until I close the game. I can also see some frozen pixels that stay blue/yellow. This never happens with the VGA output. I also use the inbuilt display on the laptop, no problems there, and I don't have Optimus running, so I'm pretty sure its not a GPU problem. I'm not sure what's going on. Can anyone help?
