  1. could you suggest a build? Do i need a dedicated gpu? Let's say I want to play 4k mkv files would a 2200g on its own be enough?
  2. Hi guys, Can you please suggest me HTPC builds for £500. This is to be hooked up to a 4K TV. I am not doing any gaming, just streaming / watching 4k videos / netflix etc I already have an SSD and HDD so please do not include in the build. Please let me know if you need any more information. Thanks!
  3. Hi All, I have a 4k TV and I want a PC where I can watch media at 4K / Bluray without any lag. Examples would be 4K videos I have taken with my drones / cameras or 4K I have a budget of around £400 (GBP) for a small media PC. No gaming involved, just streaming videos and general browsing. Preferably in a micro atx format so its small. Any suggestions would be great.
  4. Thank you for that, however, I've wanted a 4k camera prior to wanting to create a YouTube channel for general cinematography outside the YouTube space. So I am fixated on purchasing a camera for other productions.
  5. Hi Guys, I'm planning to create tech review YouTube videos and wanted to produce 4k content. My budget is around £500. These are the cameras I have been looking at: - Panasonic GX85 - Panasonic G7 - Panasonic G80 (Little out of budget, but if the extra money can be justified I will consider purchasing) I wanted a camera which I could shoot cinematography a-roll and colour grade it, similar to what Ash Tailor does. Any help or advice is much appreciated. - T
  6. The stock DOCP settings to run at 2400mhz? I think. I did not change the timings. It was my motherboards recommended DOCP settings.
  7. Hi Guys, When I got my PC the first thing I did was to turn on D.O.C.P in my AI Tweaker (*Asus OC settings) I have tested both in Cinebench and Far Cry 5 that turning it off produces the same if not better results. Any OC I've done on my RAM just degrades the performance even more. The timings I used were not that loose either. Any ideas why touching my RAM degrades its performance. I am running Corsair Vengeance 2400mhz at 16-16-16-39
  8. I see, I was using a spreadsheet which calculated the timings needed to obtain the clocks. Can you recommend me some timings / frequency.
  9. Hi guys, So I'm trying to OC my Ram. I am running 8GB X 2 at 2400mhz with 16-16-16-39 I have tried 2999mhz at 20-20-20-47 and 3200mhz at 21-21-21-52 with 1.35volts and neither of them have been giving me better FPS in game benchmarks or cinebench scores. I'm using an ASUS motherboard, I'm wondering if I haven't turned something off or on which is what is degrading my performance. These are the only changes I would've made when I did the OC.
  10. I think what you are talking about is tracking. Try this: https://www.wikihow.com/Motion-Track-in-Adobe-After-Effects
  11. I don't know if I should hold out or get a refund and go for the 8700k
  12. It's weird though, I came from a FX-8350 with no issues in Vegas Pro 15.
  13. I saw this and was wondering if it is related. It may be and I hope it's not.
  14. I just recently built a 2700x machine and I'm having instability when scrubbing through my videos and pressingl play to watch it in preview. There's a massive lag spike lasting a minute everytime I press play or scrub. Anyone else had similar issues with the Ryzen 2700x
