  1. lol im not into the whole renting deal. at the end of the day this will be my new toy thx tho
  2. thank you for the help and yes the r720 does seem like a better buy on ebay. Also the reason I was getting the ssd from them, was because I was lazy :p. but yeah thanks you guys for the os.
  3. Ok so I am planning on getting the Dell PowerEdge R710 SFF Server | 12-Core G2 | Build Your Own from serversuperstore. I was wondering if anyone thinks that this is a good enough server to host games. and if so what os should I use. games range from minecraft - ark survival evolved. server.pdf

  5. I always put my computer to sleep then hibernate then off with fast boot enabled. One of those bricks the bootloader and it restores the default one. granted that is for kali linux
  6. I havnt found one yet that is lga 1156, that dosnt support it.
  7. I totally agree. I personally am running an x3470 at the moment. It was $39 on aliexpress. It is more then i need right now. After liquid metaling it, I can get up to 3.8 ghz at 58C. It has a maximum temp of 70C. Compaired to the x3440 it is much better for the price.
  8. Anyone else relies it says 3 hours ago? its only been 12 mins.
  9. The xeons X3430 seem to be one of the earliest not soildered chips. I ended up taking it apart. Tho be careful on the x3470 and make sure to clamp from top to bottom or you will hit those tiny chips off (expirence)
  10. If your up for some testing I can try and help. (forgive my terminology its late) First are the extra 4 or 8 pin power connectors plugged into the motherboard and or the graphics card? Second is it overclocked? and finally have you tried the old psu again.
  11. I am on my last nerve with this thing. I just got an Akitio node pro and im trying to get it to work with a hp spectra x360 laptop. At first thunderbolt 3 wasn't seeing it until I updated drivers. Now it sees it but their is no graphics card in divice manager (besides the intel integrated.) Im trying to use a 1050 ti with it. Any ideas while I still have hair that's not pulled out.
  12. A box fan covers the whole thing. And Ive only tested it for about 10 mins and 66c is the lowest with 68c being the highest. So I dont belive the water temp is the problem atm. But it could be. Dont know how I missed this post. The radiator gets warm/hot but not hot hot. And the cpu is at 1.2 volts overclocked to 3 ghz
  13. Order is res to pump to rad to block to res. I just got some Kyronaut and will apply soon. I was using artic silver 5. And the rad is using the box fan atm. Ps what is a good block for an lga1156? And yes the pump using using male to male fitting into rad.
