If it does still not post after a psu upgrade then board might be dead, but could just be the underside of the cpu or mobo socket is filthy, usually just dunking/spraying 99% IPA fixes this, id reccomend waiting 4 hours minimum but pref a day for it to dry

Thanks for the input, mate. Yeah, that does seem to be my top option ATM, getting a new PSU. Hope it's worth it.

When ur FPS dips bellow ur monitor's refresh rate u get what's called Tearing; It's when for a split second half of ur screen is still the previous frame and the other half is the next one. In general it is recommended to make sure ur GPU is pushing the needed amount of Frames per second that matches ur monitor's refresh rate. That much do know. And from personal experience i'm not quite sure if G-Sync and Free-Sync help that much.

Go to a neurologist and consider having a CT scan or better yet a MRI. I'm not a doctor but your cousin frequently falling since he's three might suggest Shaken Baby Syndrome. And please go to a board certified neurologist or better yet, a board-certified pediatric neurologist. Don't even consider going to medical charlatans like chiropractors.

Today this guy who's in the same class as me, he sat next to me and little by little i found out he played games and all, so we went on talking, and then he was like you can't use two graphics cards together right an i'm like well it depends on the graphics card it's self than i spend the next half hour or so trying to explain to him that there is this mysterious thing called SLI and CF while he's absolutely convinced i'm wrong cause he tried it with two GT210s. Eventually i just gave up and was like dude, not only you're seriously out dated, you're fucking stupid no i idea how you made this far.

I would say so about the 928 as well, but than euro car manufacturers do take from muscle cars sometimes, i mean look at the V12 Vantage, relatively small body, big block V12 in the front, rear wheel drive.

-Two is better than one obviously, so if you can squeeze a second CPU and a dual socket mobo in there it'll be worth it
-i think a Tesla will be a better bet since Quadros re better off for cuda developers and such.
-I think ECC is essential in your case.

That helps on some of the specifics... As for those topics, if there is a region of the world that you are interested in, I would look around for a Geology of that region book.  As a part of the Earth History discussion for the region, they usually also discuss the Paleontology.  One of my favorite regions to read up on are the John Day Fossil Beds in Central Oregon.  Concerning the Mineralogy and Crystallography, when I was in college, I had several texts that were really useful.  There was Nesse's "Introduction to Optical Mineralogy" and Klein's "The 22nd Edition of the Manual of Mineral Science" as required texts. A copy of Simon & Schuster's "Guide to Rocks and Mienrals" is also a really useful tool to have at your disposal for just some basic mineral classification information.

    Hi there

Just wanted to share a funny anecdote that happened to me a few weeks ago.
So I was preparing for an exam at the University, and the day finally came. The exam was about disk management and its inner functioning + file systems (blocks, nodes, header movements and optimization algorithms).
The thing is, I completely forgot to bring my calculator, so I had in front of me the hard task of facing lots of 'Gibis' and 'Mebis' calculations with bit precision, with only a couple of hours of sleep at my back.

I realized this was a lost cause when, after two hours of exam, I found myself working with a massive 3,3 trillion GiB file, and spent the rest of the time navigating through various pages of disorganized eight and nine digit counts trying to found the error.

A 4770K @ 4.4Ghz shouldn't bottleneck a 1070 AT ALL. and since you say your PSU failed, guess that was the problem.
