My brother just had to leave his job early due to an ongoing wildfire

 

The upshot of living in a state as boring as Iowa is that I don't have to worry about dangerous shit like that, just tornadoes!

    As a former Iowan you also had to worry about the occasional blizzard and ice storm knocking your power out for a week or more xD

    California ex-pat here, so nice to not have power outages because prep work for expected wildfires.

    Here in Colorado we get Wildfires, blizzards, flooding AND occasional tornados lol.
