  1. http://www.xs-pc.com/lighting/8-way-4pin-12v-rgb-splitter-hub-sata-powered-black-rllk8 Unsure of the websites description if I use a asus z370 mobo and connect this to the header will the aurora run all connected bits the same? I would imagine so if its a splitter but want to make sure first.
  2. SketchUp that was the one I remembered thank you very much
  3. I was unsure where to post this I am looking for the software LMG used for their pullout server pc. I had the website of it and noticed a free version with access to the library of PC Components. I could not find the video in the massive vollection of videos from Linus and this software could help a ton with my desk PC plans concerning dimensions.
  4. Okay this makes me think i need to redesign to get the reservoirs on a slant. I could place the parallel to a sloped higher area using the slightly sideways port on the EKWB reservoir it. Would give me a fill bleed point being highest point give me gravity flow to pump. Drain port would still need figuring out but i think if i make use of a inbetween small reservoir at the lowest point or even just a splitter. Time to sketch again. Thank you all
  5. So going inlet into the top and a outlet at the bottom would be perfectly allright or would it void warranty on a res? This could save me a total of 6 90 deg fittings and lower it to 2 45deg just to help slant the res a tiny bit. They layout I am currently in the concept phase is like a figure eight since it would be 2 pc's sharing the space.
  6. Me again the nooby guy learning, Tried searching for another topic but could not find one. If I make a horizontal Cylinder Reservoir I have two questions why do most reservoirs say the top is only to fill and not use as a Input Flow, also do people have experience for best way to bleed air from the cylinder, without much lifting due to me planning hardline. I could plan to make the Reservoir at a 5deg incline to bleed towards the fill port but level would be more my goal.
  7. Thanks so far keep them coming, because looking on amazon reviews and a few others always feels a bit bought. Really prefer the real life accounts concerning fittings.
  8. Okay moving on with questions towards fittings, noticed jay uses PrimoChill Revolver fittings and loved the Monsoon EV2 fittings. Just wondering what people say about their own fittings and which ones you all used and found to give good seals for hard tubing.
  9. So overall it would pull heat from the liquid slower but allow more liquid to flow through it?
  10. That was what I was wondering because a non u turn rad would be much better for planned loop.
  11. Ive seen a few where there are two ports on the same side but none on the opposite. Pardon the confusion there. Rads on bitspowers site are both on the same side.
  12. The Alphacool radiator the Alphacool NexXxoS XT45 Full Copper X-Flow 480mm Radiator did i figure out correctly the fluid enters one side and leaves on the opposite? Tried to direct link to the site but it blocked it from my cell.
  13. I was thinking PETG hardline even if its more difficult to do even more for a first time build, I was planning tons of extra pipe to have practice bits. Possibly looking at the set from thermaltake with the 45° 90 ° cutter and chamfer bit to help. Good tools make a good product. Why is the fitting choice much more important. I know I need Hardline Compression fittings since the ones for soft would not work for a good seal. What is the other bit to watch out for?
  14. Thanks having the names really helps now they come up at least. One last question, is it normal to try and stick to one company or do most people get blocks from one and fittings from another? Having a first browse I liked a flow control from bitspower for its minimalist design much more than thermaltakes. Also judging I rarely see them but I like the idea of having a temp sensor and flow indicator do people use them or is it overrated.
  15. Okay with plan in head I am trying to search parts to make a parts list and could use advice. Browsing I keep seeing EK and Thermaltake as options and not much else. I could get everything I would include in the loop from EK with one or two RGB components except fans. Thermaltakes site looks a bit more takky to me but seems like i could get everything there as well plus the fans. Now i know experiences will be different but which supplier might be the better choice. Also if there is other suppliers that just get suppressed in google and bing search put them forward as well please. I am thinking 1080 Ti Full block and Intel i8700 for asus z230 E combo block that does cpu and a bit of mobo.
