  1. This, PoE is a phenomenal game with the most ethical microtransactions ever seen in games. There are some unfortunate sides, mainly design language inconsistency issues, lying tooltips, obtuse not-as-described formulas happening in the background of how stats work and interact, shining through that GGG's designers are more amateur than pro in some ways. But the game deserves credit for its solidity and value. If you give PoE a try, try to use a cookie cutter build made by someone experienced on your first character because diving blind into the passive tree is a bad idea (look for low-budget builds on their forum) The game may look like it's about freedom, given the vastness of its options, but that is all a trap. You need to reach survivability thresholds to have any hope of cracking the endgame. For example, the game lets you dual-wield weapons, but unless you're extremely rich you can't pull it off. It needs very specific stat stacking like life leech, life gain on hit, and life gain on kill to work and even then you're excluded from the spikiest single-target boss fights of the endgame. It's not a hard game to play however, as long as your build is suitable. A very good turn-off-your-brain, enjoyable kind of game.
  2. Rocket League if you have a 144hz+ monitor. Metro 2033 and Last Light Redux if you want a story based shooter. We're pretty thin on multiplayer shooters worth playing, there's Overwatch which isn't exactly graphically intensive, and that new Quake game that's coming out in a bit (it's in closed beta now) As mentioned above, War Thunder is free and can look damn beautiful on maxed settings with high frame rates. Especially the tank side of the game has some nice tricks up its graphical sleeve. Just be prepared for learning curve, when in doubt stay with teammates.
  3. Very low clock speed, avoid It boosts up to 3.6 Ghz (still low, where a gaming CPU starts out)
  4. It may be solder dross within the brick not properly cleaned up before assembly, in which case it should disappear over time.
  5. Yeah sure, I bet that thing will get here, hot pizza intact, in one meter of snow and uphill on ice.
  6. The bigger the fish the likelier the target. The recently over-performing (in Steam charts) Path of Exile and its developer Grinding Gear Games may have been the target of an on-site data access by an uninvited party spanning a whopping 10 days. It is unknown what, if anything, the would-be infiltrator made away with. Hopefully cracking these passwords will be at least as difficult as creating a worthwhile character build in the notoriously deep ARPG. GGG assures us that its passwords are stored both salted (the process of adding a unique string to each password) then hashed, and it would take years or even decades to brute force strong passwords - and rather worryingly - days or weeks to crack a weak one. If you're the type of person to make your passwords "QWERTY12345" or similarly anemic strings, it would be wise to change it. It wouldn't be unwise for anyone to change it however, strong or not. Other things that could have been breached are things like IP addresses of recently active players, and physical addresses of people who had physical products shipped to them. Another juicy target at GGG; although this is my own input and not that of GGG's announcement, would be any inside scoops about its upcoming giga-update, promising a 2.5X multiplication of the games content. The game will by the end of the year be expanded to 10 acts compared to the current 4, which has a lot of people interested (as recent Steam charts will attest to) Source: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1874476
  7. YES! fistpump! Gamestop are a bunch of shitbaguettes and hopefully this means Nintendo will stop their damn "go to Gamestop to get this Pokémon" BULLSHIT.
  8. Hell, The Secret World came out 5 years ago and is 47GB. Star Citizen's projected final size is guessed to be in the neighbourhood of 180GB... lol As for phones, you'd want most games on internal storage and not an SD card so I'd opt for at least 64GB but I don't think for the next 2-3 years that any more than that is necessary. EDIT: Wow, didn't expect a thread half-way down page 1 of the forum would be this old. Pardon my horrendous necro
  9. And so what? If there aren't any stutters in the most graphically demanding game (which there aren't) on Android why should I care about some numbers on a page? Hit me with your best "but it's future proof" and again, you're just going to buy the immediate next phone with a slightly higher number so you can be "future proof" again. You're just leaving a trail of early adopter second hand pickups on the used market for people smarter than you to take off your hands, lol
  10. How is it crippled by a GPU good enough for the heaviest games, using less battery while doing it? Xiaomi Mi Max can game for 10 hours straight before needing a charge. (Asphalt for reference) On the 14nm 660 it'll last even longer.
  11. Don't care about the 835, I want to see the 660. With how good the 650 was and the phones it was in costing roughly $200, there's no shitting reason to be excited for an 835.
  12. Man, imagine if they made 6 cores the upper limit and designed such a SKU on a single core complex. That would be so much better for everyone. Still going to get a 1600X mind you.
  13. Sandisk have always been the worst flash card MFT. They bait headlines with their "first X capacity" which they only get because they're the only ones with morals low enough to release shit to market 6 months before it's ready. As a professional photographer for 15 years I learned this much. Absolute last choice in SD cards.
  14. Highest maximum frame rates in a good 80% of cases But that matters for shit when the option has the better minimums and lower price. Minimum FPS > Maximum FPS
  15. so ZTE will just shut down its American wing and go ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  16. And hacks for anything online so 30 YO cunts can cheat at children's games just like with Pokemon on 3DS.
  17. lol that's what I paid for my 1440p, 144hz Freesync monitor Also an Acer (XG270HU) with the added benefit of being tied with the BenQ XL2730Z for lowest input lag among all adaptive sync monitors (Freesync and G-sync included)
  18. They are not the model of Europe though, the politically progressive countries such as Germany, Ireland, France, Switzerland and the Scandinavian countries better represent Europe's collective ideals. UK has often been taking steps backwards, especially under their previous administration.
  19. I'll give it about tree fiddy! (That's how much I paid for GTA 4 back then and is my benchmark for a good deal for a game I'm not really that interested in)
