  1. It is horrible. I'll make sure I'll get rid of it. I'll try to do what you suggested and see if I can manage to do it Never give up bruh
  2. That would just defeat the purpose But I can't even get to the part of installing the drivers since I can't install Windows 7 (or 8 or 8.1) ...
  3. Could you explain what this would do? So is there any fix to this? I really don't want Windows 10
  4. So I have an ASUS ROG laptop with Windows 10 preinstalled on it. Ever since I got it I have tried to install Windows 7/8/8.1 on it once in a while, but NOTHING worked. What I tried (the list is TOO LONG, but this is what I can remember only): - 2 USBs with Rufus (Tried multiple times with the default and tweaked settings): Windows 7 shows an error after the first reboot, the others just freeze - CD (Tried to burn all of the versions on a CD) - As above - Running the setup while PC is on (Freezes when booting after the first reboot) - External HDD (It never shows in my boot list in the BIOS) I have tried multiple ISOs from the Microsoft website and *ehem* **other websites**. I still don't understand what is happening. Am I just doomed to be locked on Windows 10 forever? Why would Bill do this? P.S.: Do not ask why I don't want to use Windows 10
  5. I've got 2 questions: 1) What is the difference between undervolting and overclocking, and is one better than the other? 2) Is it safe to perform any of those 2 on a laptop? (I do have a cooler, but I don't know if it is enough) Thanks.
  6. I replaced the case with a new one, reassembled everything and reinstalled windows and it works perfectlly for the moment. No idea what was wrong
  7. I can't even get into the BIOS so I don't know how I'd even begin to try any of that Also afaik there are other beeps for RAM or CMOS errors
  8. I have a Gigabyte MB and I tried booting it up now and it gives me 1 long beep, 2 short beeps. Is my GPU dead? Should I bury it?
  9. Can't really afford a new HDD, let alone an SSD But I have an external HDD, can I use that as a replacement?
  10. No sound guys, you are probably right Even though it was working just fine 2 weeks ago
  11. Well it didn't make the noise in the BIOS before either, it started when windows booted, but you might be right i always figured it was my PSU since I tortured it last summer from the heat with no A/C
  12. It just says "Reboot and select bla bla.." I don't have another HDD to test this with, sadly
  13. Is there something I can check at it to rule this out?
  14. I ran a hard drive check programs 2 weeks ago and it showed it to be at good health and it has been nowhere near crane magnets ever since EDIT: It was the weeb app Crystaldiskinfo
