  1. Yep ! Everything works fine now. But one thing is sure : I won't do a BIOS update anytime soon haha.
  2. Managed to solve my issue ! I removed every components from motherboard except for MB/CPU power, the rest were all removed (fans, SSD, USB, Audio, etc...) Then, I tried to flash bios with USB key and instead of during 4 mins as before it lasted for 8 mins. I put back CPU and RAM but I got error code some error codes. I tried to unplug and plug back RAM and it seems fixed. At this state PC didn't boot because of error 02 code. So I look on internet and someone said "you have to plug keyboard" and I did that and I was able to boot as usual. Crazy...
  3. Today I updated the bios on my MSI X570 Unify but it failed. When I boot my PC, I got a black screen. So I did a clear CMOS and also tried to update BIOS with flash button and USB key.The led blicking for 2 mins. Now when I boot my PC, I still have a black screen and 00 code on the motherboard. PC Specs : AMD Ryzen 5900X (stock) MSI X570 MEG RTX 4080 FE (no O/C) 32 GB Corsair Vengeance RT 3600C16 (only XMP enabled) WD_Black SN850 500GB & Samsung 970 EVO 500GB Before BIOS update, my PC worked perfectly fine.
  4. Installed a whole new PSU and the Windows 11 logs still have the same issue.... So the problem comes from either RAM or MOBO... Edit : The error is exactly : (70368744177664),(2). After research and I see it can match, affected by Windows 11 Fast Startup I usually get this error when I boot my PC for the first time of the day. So it makes sense somehow. So I disabled the Fast Startup feature. Now let's see if I have random reboot while playing. New PSU is Corsair RM1200x SHIFT
  5. I ordered a new PSU. I'll see if it fix issue
  6. I bought a BeQuiet 12VHPWR adaptater for my PSU and GPU. But as I said, I already this issue with my previous GPU which was a RTX 2080Ti so no 12VHPWR. Yeah, I might RMA it but I would like to be sure it's a PSU issue before. Thanks for your reply !
  7. Hello. For like 6 months my PC got a random reboot while playing video games. Fortunately, it's quite rare : maybe 3-4 times the last months. But when I went to Windows 11 logs, I have a lot of critical issues labeled Error Kernel Power 41 (63), like 1 error every 2 days. I see my PC normally booting but even that, it wrote the same error in the Windows log. After little researches, it seems to be a PSU issue. My PSU is be Quiet Straight Power 11 850W. I bought this one 4 years ago and it was quite expensive at this time. PC Specs : AMD Ryzen 5900X (stock) MSI X570 MEG (bios up-to-date) RTX 4080 FE (no O/C) 32 GB Corsair Vengeance RT 3600C16 (only XMP enabled) WD_Black SN850 500GB & Samsung 970 EVO 500GB I checked multiple time if all cables were firmly plugged and that's the case. Windows 11 and drivers are up-to-date I don't think it is the GPU because I also had this error with my previous GPU. I also did a clean install of W11 but issue remains. Any suggestions ?
  8. I bought my PSU 4 years ago and still worked good without any issues. Same for my RAM (bought last year) I just put them with XMP settings and no issues as well. Also the game I had my first random reboot was Persona 5, not really power hungry games :D. But yeah, I double-checked my RAM. My page file size is 2048MB. Last thing I did is uncheck "automatically restart" option in Windows. It seems to be working so far.
  9. Hey ! Thanks. According to Windows Event logs, I had the Kernel Power Error 41. My PSU is quite good IIRC. And I didn't touch my PC (except for cleaning carefully). I may try a clean install of W11.
  10. I use chipset drivers from AMD website. I don't have any BSOD while rebooting, it's exactly the same if I hit the "reset" button. Thanks for trying to helping me !
  11. Hello ! I recently have an issue with my computer that occurs only playing but totally random. My PC have random reboots while playing a video game. No matter the game, I can play for hours without any random boot and start the PC, play a bit and get a reboot. Here is my setup : R9 5900X, MSI X570 MEG Unify, Zotac RTX 2080 Ti AMP!, 32 GB Corsair RT 3600 C16, WD_Black SN850 500GB & Samsung 970 EVO 500GB and 850W Gold - STRAIGHT POWER 11 - Be Quiet! Monitor is Samsung Neo G7 4K. All drivers and BIOS are up-to-date. What I did so far : Uninstalled and installed GPU drivers. Opened the PC and checked cables. Removed the GPU and put it back to check if something was wrong. Ran SFC /Scannow. PC case is clean. No components are overclocked. GPU and CPU temps are normal (also the PC room is quite cold). I don't know to fix it, any ideas ?
  12. Hello, I have plans to change my PC monitor when HDMI 2.1 models will be released (for the PS5). So I'm going to give my current monitor to my dad. However, there is a small problem: my father current monitor is connected to the DVI-D port on the motherboard (AMD ASUS B450M-K), because it uses an APU from AMD, the 2200G; no need to have a graphics card. But the motherboard don't have any HDMI ports. Only DVI-D and D-Sub. My current screen (Asus ROG Swift PG279Q) does not have a DVI port and the HDMI port is broken. Only the Dsplayport remains. So here is my question: Is there a way to plug my monitor from a DVI-D port to Displayport in 1440p (no need for 144Hz) ? The main purpose is that he can use my monitor at 1440p. If not, no point to use it because he already has a 1920*1080 monitor. Thanks !
  13. Ok! Got it for the RAM. If I buy a new board, I'll check if I can overclock my kit or no. What do you mean by "you powering" ? If PSU, it's a BeQuiet Straight Power 11 850W. If CPU, it's a AMD Ryzen 3800X. And no, I want a new MB not only because of RAM but rather my X470-F have issues. Like damaged pins for USB cable, broken screw for the second M.2 port and other issues. I planned to change when the X670 will release but apparently, not this year. So good time to buy a new MB. I plan to buy the upcoming Ryzen 4000 (I will give my current 3800X to my nephew).
  14. Yes budget only for the boards. Unify and Tomahawnk are respectively priced at 319 euros and 279 euros on french retailers. Not a huge gap on prices. I would like to overclock, if it doable, my memory to 3600 CL16 or better, 3600 C14.
  15. Hello. Since my current motherboard have some issues, I would like to buy a new one. After hours of research, I finally selected two : the MSI X570 MEG Unify and MSI X570 MAG Tomahawk. Both fit my budget on my country (around 300€). But before buying I would to gather some information: 1) Unify and Tomahawnk users, are you glad about ? 2) Does those motherboards handle well RAM overclocking ? I ask that, because I cannot do anything on my X470-F even after hours and hours of tweaking / tries. My RAM kit is G.Skill F4-3200C14D-16GTZR 3) Can we disabled the spread spectrum on both ?
