    Mine is a not that old lap,it has 7th gen i5 and nvidia 940MX.My model is asus R558UQ

    I have 2 slots and one has 4gb ddr4 ram And my lap is expandable up to 12 gb so should I use 1 4gb stick or 1 8gb stick

    I have 4gb of ram on my lap which is expandable up to 12 gb.I would like to expand it,but I am really confused should I expand it till 8 or 12gb.If I expand to 12 gb will I lose the parallel chanelling effect ?or any other problem.Please help me out.
