  1. Hi, So as of late I've been noticing an occasional screen jitter within windows also an audio static hiss (like White noise ESC) , I've also been experiencing black out issues with my Oculus rift s which could be related to the issue as I was getting them on repeat on Saturday. (Thinking it was an issue with the headset, I've got a replacement coming in today) but now noticing this I've started to think it could be something wrong with the system. This has lead me ro think it could be a grounding issue or something could be going wrong with my mobo, GPU or psu, but before I go around ordering new components (which I'd rather not do as the system is only a year old) I wanna try and isolate the issue and attempt to diagnose and solve it before I start to do so. Any help is greatly appreciated as I really need this system for work/studying My current specs are the following: CPU: Ryzen 2700X GPU: MSI gaming z RTX2060 PSU: EVGA SUPERNOVA g3 650W MOBO: MSI Pro carbon AC (non max) Storage 1: Samsung 970 Evo plus 500gb Storage 2: WD blue 1tb Storage 3: Seagate Barracuda 500gb
  2. See I wouldn't mind the dongle life but having to choose between charging and listening to stuff when traveling I can see being a major pain. The only way I can see getting around this would be either a separate pair of headphones that I use while the phone is charging or a bluetooth amp/dac. The Xperia 1 ii is looking really good and is pretty much perfect but it's as much as I spent on my desktop which is not ideal.
  3. My brother has one and its a great phone but I've never been an apple guy, I love androids customisation too much and not having to conform to apples styling standards and the only way to achieve this would be jailbreaking the phone. Besides I'm already invested in the Google eco system.
  4. Hi, so I'm gonna get a new phone soon and because of removal of the headphone jack from most phones I'm considering a Bluetooth amp as it it would allow me to charge and listen to music while on the go. Does anyone have any recommendations? As I've been looking at the FiiO btr3 but it would be nice to know what else is out there.
  5. Hey, so currently I'm looking for an upgrade to my now ageing OnePlus 3, I've been out of the smartphone game for while so the new stuff is kinda alien to me and I'm not sure of what I should pick up. Preferably I want to stick to android and I have a budget of around £1000ish, I don't tend to upgrade every year so I don't mind spending a little more for longevity. I also honestly do not really care about camera specs but I want something that is fairly quick, Preferably a headphone jack would be nice, (I know it's a rare occurrence these days but using dongles seems like a nightmare when trying to use semi decent wired headphones as that is another thing I to remember to take with me,unless I get a Bluetooth amp which still isn't ideal as again it's just another thing I have to remember to charge), In addition decent battery life would be a plus as well as a near stock android experience like OxygenOS. But in terms of features that's honestly really it, any help is greatly appreciated.
  6. It's an older style, but Noctua offer a free bracket, if you show proof of purchase of a mobo and the cooler. It's the NH-C12P SE14
  7. With the exception of the price, my only other concern about the 2070 is the artifacting that was happening with the early models, any idea what the chances are of myself getting one with this issue and is this prevalent in the current releases?
  8. I can, in the end, buy next years chips anyway, if they release new cpus. Since AM4 is guaranteed support until 2020, just need to hope that the motherboard gets a BIOS update for the 4000 series.
  9. How is the 2070 armour? I was looking at that and the evga black (Heard really good things about the warranty).
  10. The thing is I kinda, want/need a new system right now. My current 8320 and 7870 is really struggling with the games I want to play. So as much as I want to wait, I also really want to just buy the parts and build asap, so I can play mordhau with friends.
  11. Pretty sure I've seen people with the 2700x and a 2080ti with little to no bottleneck.
  12. Yup, hence why I was looking at 2060, Hardware unboxed did a comparison video and it was a 2-5 frame difference even at 1440p.
  13. I just need something for Cyberpunk 2077 and the Master Cheif collection. I kinda need those games in my life right now. XD
  14. It's like £100 more for a base 2070 than say an MSI Gaming Z, and since you can clock the 2060 to meet the 2070 performance it's really tempting to do so.
  15. Yeah, it's a little annoying when you have the cash to spend but you have to wait for the upgrade to happen. Which is why it's so tempting to pull the trigger right now and buy both the parts. In terms of saving up, the thing is I have more than enough but I don't particularly want to spend more than £1150, as I have other things I want to buy.
