  1. Clean install of windows solved it for me
  2. Motherboard: MSI B350 PC MATE CPU: Ryzen 5 2400G I updated my bios from 7A34vAA to 7A34vAE. I can no longer find GFX Clock Frequency option in CPU settings, was It moved somewhere?
  3. I didn't do a fresh installation, because of some drivers incompatibility errors that windows installer was throwing. But that errors existed even before i upgraded the drive. For now I want to try to solve it without a clean install. If I don't find a solution, then I will create another topic regarding windows installer errors.
  4. I recently bought Crucial MX500 250GB SSD on which I cloned my old windows 10 instalation from my old HDD. After cloning windows I also installed ubuntu alongside it. Both operating systems have no problem booting. Unfortunately, windows often "freezes", and then I am unable to launch any new programs or use the drive in general, but I can still use everything that was launched before to some degree. I kept task manager opened all the time, so it was launched when the "freeze" happened and it reports continuous ssd usage at 100% with no data being read or written onto the drive. Besides that hard drive led is not blinking when that happens. This "freezes" never happen under ubuntu. I attach photos of task manager of when the "freeze" happened and crystaldiskinfo scan. My computer specifications with ssd performance benchmark can be found here: http://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/8170033 So far I have only tried using drive optimization in windows, chkdsk and ntfsfix without any success.
