  1. Hi, I'm currently debating between using my preexisting USB adapter versus a new PCIe wifi adapter. Would a cheap PCIe adapter make any significant difference compared to my USB adapter? For reference, my current adapter is getting me around 120mbps down and 35mbps up.
  2. Only USB 3 on my mobo Yes, I had said so and I've checked multiple times. I'm going to test my luck with a PS/2 keyboard which is coming on Sunday
  3. Ok, I have an issue where when I go to turn on my computer the keyboard and mouse fail to work, but my monitor still turns on. Here is a list of everything I have tried so far Restart the computer Clear the RAM Ensure that my keyboard and mouse are still working by plugging them into a different computer Make sure that my USB ports are still working and delivering power Clear the CMOS and check that my battery is still good I haven't used used a PS/2 keyboard yet since I'm currently looking for one. Are there any solutions you guys can think of? Thanks *EDIT* I forgot to mention that I'm now locked to my startup screen which says that I need to hit delete and set the time since the CMOS was cleared, which I obviously can't do without a functioning keyboard

  5. Bitwit recently featured a 3-pack of these fans, but now they are missing. Are they just out of stock or is that option permanently gone?

  7. Hello, I'm sending my old laptop from a few years ago to my family in Pakistan. It has an i3 and I'm upgrading it with a new SSD. Would this be enough for accounting, word processing, and for an MBA?
  8. A bit more performance and storage I guess but you may as well have more things on your boot disk so they can open faster... Idk
  9. I'd suggest spending the extra $10 if you can on the 240GB model.
  10. If I were you, however, I would suggest waiting a few months. We just had Computex and after that, a metric ton of phones dropping is upon us. I would say to wait until September if you can since some new phones may be announced. And because of that, some older phones will drop in price so you might want to wait unless you are content.
  11. Nokia 6.1 - https://www.amazon.com/Nokia-6-1-Unlocked-Smartphone-T-Mobile/dp/B07B4KPFKM/ref=sr_1_15_sspa?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1528236774&sr=1-15-spons&keywords=Nokia+5&psc=1 It's been on sale for 230 so just wait for some sale. It is made of aluminum and has a headphone jack. You can go with some Sony phones but I'm not a big fan of them.
