  1. When I try to boot my main computer on a test bench (aka motherboard box) it is stuck on "Verifying DMI pool data..." and won't boot. The OS hdd is 320gb, has Windows 10 64 bit and is from a different system I'm trying to troubleshoot. Original system specs: AMD A8 7600 Gtx 1050 Motherboard is Gigabyte f2a88xm-ds2 WD Blue 320Gb hdd Samsung 1Tb hdd Bench specs: Pentium E5200 Gtx 1050 (same one) Motherboard is Gigabyte ga-g31m-es2c Same hdds as main pc which I'm using right now to trubleshoot My main pc won't boot or post at all, just a black screen and I did everything I can to find the problem. When I try to boot it on the test bench with the same gpu and hdds its stuck before the boot on "Verifying DMI pool data..." Both have 450W psu. Pics attached.
  2. Is it supposed to feel like I'm almost crushing the CPU while installing it? Attached are pictures of the cooler resting on the CPU without the clips attached and it is very hard to put them on and it feels like I'm about to crush it. Mobo is gigabyte f2a88xm-ds2 with fm2+ socket. (Yes I know it's dusty)
  3. Alright. I'll check it and order the caps online.
  4. I knew I was missing something, anyway here is the sticker since I don't know exactly what to give.
  5. So I have an old 1080p 16:9 vga+dvi Monitor that doesn't work and I want to find out why. Things I have that can help: Soldering iron Time Patience This is the only other monitor I have except for my pc, and I need this one for my test bench. When I plug it in it makes a beeping noise consisting of a lower pitch beep and a higher pitch beep alternating fast. When pressing the power button the beeping becomes inconsistent, the power led blinks once every second and there is no image on the screen. If there is any other information you need just reply here. Thanks in advance.
  6. So I'm gonna upgrade my 300ish gb hard drive to a 480gb ssd, how do I back up the data and move it back when Windows is installed? I have a second 1tb drive with enough space to fit the 300gb drive on it.

  9. Sorry, I have an Antec BP450S, not a Corsair one
  10. The differences are mostly at the core clock and vram, just get the one that you like more.

  12. I'm upgrading my pc and wanted to know if a 450W PSU can power this: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/RQLRJ8
  13. Thanks for the tips everyone, theese are the parts i settled with: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/CtNhyX But will a 450W PSU be able to power the system with an EVGA GTX 1050 SC?
  14. sorry for the misunderstanding everyone but 500 dollars includes the cpu (ryzen 5). the motherboard needs to have a pci-e 16x and another atleast pci 1x (for wireless wifi card) Edit: Stock cooler will work for anyone asking but a better one can help. Also, would a 450w psu be enough with an EVGA GTX 1050 SC?
