I'm so sorry to all of you that even had to talk about the legal age and how old you had to be to use this website and blah blah blah. Sorry, I didn't go over my reading and I just realized that I said I'm 12 even though I'm 13 lol. I'm the one who started the big convo about this ^^^^. sorry my bad guys. And i'm pretty sure I don't know anyone in seventh grade who is 12 lol. But anyways thanks for the advice and suggestions and funny comments I appreciate it.

@themctipers , they just say its too much and i told them that i would use it for other things, and at school my elective classes are classes with computers and learning about computer science (no, im not a geek, i just try to see what games i can play) . they just keep saying know when i say why

@themctipers , it is a school laptop, they give to use to use for school, so they blocked everything you need to play games like steam and everything. its a lenevo yoga 260 btw. so about the SSD recommendation, i dont think that would work but thanks. and i will ask my parents about it again. and thank god they didnt block forums on linus tech tips lol

funny how this convo kinda went into everyone saying what keyboard they have and how hard they tap their keys lol. btw i checked google maps and it shows best buy stores around the city of baltimore. but maybe you could take a bus one day and just go out and explore shops if you want. cause my brother takes the bus a lot. i dont know if this helped but good luck.

@FmPhenom , thank you for the reply! btw my school gave all of us kids laptops to take wherever, but they have everything blocked on them so i cant do anything i like with them, and we (families) dont pay for them ( unless you break it) because they are with us throughout middle school and high school. @themctipers , my mom know like nothing really about tech, shes a doctor, and my dad is a doctor, he knows a little about tech, but not really anything about computers.

i watch a lot of tech videos. i watch these videos on gaming pc's and how to work with them and how to build them. i will buy the parts/build a budget gaming pc for obo 450 dollars and i know what parts i am going to get and what i will buy for my peripherals. i have done countless hours of just searching and finding what the best fit is for me. i already have a nice monitor but me and my older brother use it for our xbox one to play games on it. but the thing about it is that i love pc gaming, so i dont care about the xbox, and all my friends have a gaming pc. i have good grades (all A's). but what is holding me back from getting a pc is my parents. they wont let me buy one and think that it costs to much and they dont like the idea of me spending my OWN money on something this expensive. so it would be really great if you guys could give me some ideas on how to convince them, and/or get them to let me buy a gaming pc. thx. and sorry for hurting your eyes beause i wrote so much R.I.P.
