Well it seems the supermicro z270 benches one of the higher ones... some playing around with though some still some errors reported going on at 5ghz..trying level 2 LLC...see what that does...so far looks good. I do like this one though. A little hotter running out of the 3 tested but nothing major. Overall some well done stuff.

yeah like the xeon x5650 and clock it.... or it's like what a lot did skip a lot of gens up to z270/370. It's quite some performance.

something like the 4790k.... some can could run ddr3L along side and optional with ddr4...not sure what ones though. would have to look. still a different idea and pretty cool. the stuff I knew wasn't soldered..where they wanted to go back to that. Another thing to play around with.

7700k 5ghz 24/7 you are smoked son...you will need that 1800x clocked to keep up. I don't play around me, I'm calling you out Lol

Washer/spacer is absolutely fine...blocks been around always like that...the standoff etc...the backplate was more for support for heavy sinks and taking some stress of the board.

Well the one key works and stays activated with saying Digital license linked to and tied to the Microsoft account...but I think you just need to reinstall...you change board don't work obviously etc. You still gotta buy another key man....

So how does this work again...So I bought a couple Home keys...and sometimes it wasn't always tied to the mobo...so I can always do a clean install and get activated with same key or really need a new key every-time??

yeah the single core and ipc dude...things like. plenty of the old chips are still good.

I think it's nvme at something a little faster sata 6 speed dude not sure....I think.. rampage had it too and few other boards did...this oem board i have does not have one though....kinda crappy board...but i know now the x5650 is still good, would be a good clocker on the Sabertooth or UDR3... don't matter back on z270 and 7700k smokes just about everything prior...unless some still on broadwell or any haswell...saved the 4770k 4790k or like yeah that 5820k stuff like that....that one I thought was soldereddd though...and people deliding soldered stuff anyways.... Ignorant lol... stuff was originally mostly ever down to known chips that weren't soldered....

Need more Power dude...I like this current Box and the gears and that idea still...but just need more power dude...you need that pull that sits you throws you back in the seat...you ain't gonna get that out of a non-turbo 4...hell no...

The d14 can still do ok...but the delid and loop doing pretty awesomely. There is probably some better blocks than the generic z97 block and the ek block though...some larger copper block like the Raystorm or something.

Unless it's something with you're board and memory where xmp isn't working and stuff.
