You can fit in a double fan GPU but it will be a tight fit

Ah ok, great! Thanks so much for your help!

Ok, I will look into that! Also, if I get the adapter does that mean I can use any 1155 compatible cooler as well? Within height restraints of course
-
What would the safe temps be? I know it's an older CPU so I'm not sure if thermal limits change
-
OH I just asked for this heh
-
What kind of adapter would I have to get?
-
It's actually an i7 2600! I bought it for a pretty good deal I think? Any kind of aftermarket cooler would be better than the stock cooler right now right?

Hi everyone! I just recently purchased a refurbished Dell Optiplex and was wondering if it was possible to change the CPU cooler? I know manufacturers like to use their own non standard designs when it comes to prebuilts, but I was just curious to see if I can change it. Here is a picture

How to "factory reset" an SSD partitions?

Ok! I will report back soon -
Hi everyone, I recently dug up an old Plextor 128gb SSD ( oh boy I got this when it first came out for about 200$ hehe) and was going to use it to revive an aging laptop that I have. I was going to wipe it but I didn't know how to go about it, since it was used in a Windows 7 system back in 2012. I loaded it up and noticed that it still has it's MBR. I read before that drives with old MBRs could inhibit itself from reinstalling fresh, and was wondering how I could install Windows 10? Any help is greatly appreciated! Here is a picture of said drive Disk0 being my current boot drive

Hi everyone, I recently came across an old optiplex 990 with an i7 2600 inside it. It has a 500gb HDD as well as 8gb of RAM and was selling for about 200$. I was thinking of picking it up and doing a budget gaming build with it, maybe a GTX 1060? But I was curious to know if it's still a relevant CPU, since we're in our 8th generation of i7 CPUs. Any advice I can get would be great! Thanks!
