  1. The title explains it all pretty much. My Macbook air 2018 can't connect to WIFI when it wakes from sleep. It also doesn't connect to bluetooth devices, printers, or anything that is wireless. I have tried Resetting the PRAM Deleting and re-adding the internet config Changing WIFI priority Changing network priorities Deleting all network info from Keychain access, restarting, and then rejoining the network Renewing DHCP lease (Not sure if this one does anything) Wiping proxy settings and DNS settings. Disabling Power Nap Does anyone have any other suggestions, or other ways to do what I already did? Note: I do not have an apple wifi access point. I don't know if this is the right forum to post this under, if it isn't, please point me in the right direction. Thank you.
  2. Hi, sorry for responding literally 16 hours after I put the post up I do not have access to the router, as 192.168.1.1 (the router's ip, obviously) keeps going to "page not responding" on all of my devices. Should I just restart the router?
  3. For casual gaming, I personally would prefer the 144Hz VA, because in casual gaming, pixel response time isn't the biggest deal ever.
  4. Asus is going to release a 200Hz 2MS GTG response time VA panel - the PG35VQ (I think that's the model)
  5. The title somewhat explains it. My MacBook air 2019 doesn't connect to one of my WIFI routers. And to make things worse, "wifi diagnostics" seem to have been removed from System Preferences. If I switch to my other router, it works, but when I switch back, it starts by saying "no ip." Then when that disappears, sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't. It crashes seemingly randomly, but also crashes multiple times per day. The other device that sometimes doesn't work is my dad's Mac Pro (cheese-grater, idk the year.) The weird thing is that my MacBook air 2014 works, my iPhone works, my Samsung J3 V works, and and every other device works. Could it be a OS problem, or do you think it is a firmware problem? I suspect one of them, because it has been working fine until just a week or two ago. No new devices have been connected to the internet on this WIFI that I am aware of, so I don't think it is a IP designation issue. Please let me know your thoughts Thanks you!
  6. I believe so, but you may want to check whether your CMOS battery says "CR2032" somewhere on it
  7. I would suggest ordering one as soon as you can, since they only last around 5-6 years.
  8. Do you know what motherboard you are using? Please read the entire message before procceeding The CMOS is a tiny battery on the motherboard, you just need to pop it out for (I think) about 10 seconds, and then put it back in. This is, of course while the computer is fully powered down. I'd even recommend unplugging the power cable, or at least making sure the power supply switch is off
  9. Is your computer overclocked? Also have you tried resetting the CMOS? I've seen something similar happen on a i9 7920x, and clearing CMOS fixed it. Even if it is overclocked, I'd say reset CMOS, then retry the overclock.
  10. Sidenote: because it is a fan that is going on a radiator, it needs at least decent static pressure
  11. So, to explain this post, I have a In Win 805, and I have 2 radiators, one on the bottom and one on the front. One is a 280mm and the other is a 240. I'm using Noctua's Chromax NF-F12s on the 240, and Corsair ML140 Pro RGBs on the 280. But I don't actually have enough airflow (I wish I had gone for the Lian Li PC-O11 Dynamic now...) because of the bad case airflow. And now my thermals kinda suck. My i7 9700k (OC 5GHz all cores) is at 85ºC under full load, and my 2070 is at 79. And my computer is still ridiculously quiet even with fans at max. So I figure I could put some more fans in there on the radiators to help pull more air. But I absolutely hate the looks of the backs of fans, so I was wondering if there were reverse airflow fans, so I didn't have to see the fan's frame. Must be black/gray/silver, no color unless I can easily remove it Budget is not a big problem, well... as long as it is somewhat reasonable... (I'd say up to $35 per fan max) If you know of such a fan, or could point me in the right direction, I would be very grateful. Thank you
  12. Sounds good. Thank you! P.S. No matter what settings I tried, I couldn't get my 1060 to work at different refresh rates, do you think I had a slightly messed up windows install or something?
