Alright, I know the team already knows a lot of this (I was in a line and a girl who I cant remember the name of [sorry!] was asking for feedback on the event and a bunch of people in said line told her a lot of whats been said already and whats in my post) but I'll put my thoughts here anyways.

I'll just put everything in to 2 lists in no particular order

    Good things:
Lots of stuff to do, some of it was cool, some wasnt (I personally wasnt interested in doing some things, and I stood in line for VR for an hour before giving up on trying it) Was very nice being able to meet and talk to all the team members (I personally got my "overclocked shirt" [Best thing I can think of as to what to call it] signed by a bunch of the team members, and even tho I love the shirt, I'm never wearing it, because that shirt is worth too much to me for me to even have a chance at ruining it, seriously, that was awesome!) Lots of giveaways (This is also going to be marked as a bad thing, not because I dont like more stuff being given away, but ill talk about that in the "Bad things list") A bunch of cool guests (Kinda sucks that louis left early tho) Bad things:
Too many people (This one is a bit of a two-parter, 1. lines were way too long [I was in line for VR for an hour and wasn't even close to getting to try it], 2. As @Keystone Nyan Cat said, the kids, they were running around with little regard for safety of others, and they took away from the event, thankfully they weren't too much of an issue between giveaways, but during giveaways, they ran fast.... like.... really fast....) Lots of giveaways (Told ya id mark this as a bad thing as well! The bad part of this is just the execution, a lot of the giveaways [particularly before noon, and around 3-ish] were focused on running around the entire event, which, ignoring the fact that most of us are complete introverts and aren't used to running around looking for people [poor audience match, in a way], was also not great considering that to run around the entire event, you had to run between a bunch of people in lines or risk losing to the 11 year old kid who runs faster than sonic, which was not safe at all) Audio (The audio for the mic that linus and other guests used were fine, the speakers however, made such a bad echo you literally could not understand what was being said unless you were in the stage area, i'm genuinely surprised that someone was able to hear what number was drawn in one of the day-end giveaways, standing in the giant mess of people at the stage entrance) The poor lambo... Rest in peace, for you will never be forgotten...
Overall, the event was awesome, but since this is the feedback thread, and I plan on going next year, I might as well suggest ways to make next year better!

I'll take the potentially unpopular opinion here.  Why should I let Facebook...no anyone for that matter tell me what is fake news?  Are they basically trying to tell the individual that they are incapable of doing that themselves and we need Big Brother Zucc to do it for us?

Tell me, what was so toxic about his comments that he deserved to be slandered as a sexist by her?  Have you even read his comments?  I didn't find them particularly enlightening, but hardly worthy of the scathing rebuke that she threw at him.  Apparently her employer agreed.

I had an Intellivision back in the day.  I absolutely loved that system, especially with the swappable inserts for the gamepad.  I wasted many an hour playing BurgerTime on that thing.

That's the nature of equality, everyone has an equal chance to get the short end of the stick.  Some people think equality means being above reproach and never being shorted, which is the Animal Farm version of "equality".  True equality is of opportunity, not end result.

Alright, here's how I - as a person who has never played an ArenaNet game before - see this since I find it so fascinating.

Writer (Ms. Price) posts a statement about how difficult it is to create compelling characters in MMOs. Streamer - probably unbeknownst to her or she wouldn't have responded the way she did, official ArenaNet partner - provides constructive criticism/rebuttal. Writer then brings up gender inequality - not at all brought up by streamer - as a shield to downplay streamer as a "rando asshat" and to complain about what was constructive criticism.

ArenaNet president Mr. O'Brien nailed this one perfectly in his response. Ms. Price really expects sympathy for being fired when she essentially dehumanized and attacked a gamer?

Glad ArenaNet did the right thing here.
Just because you're a female dev, doesn't mean you get a free pass at everything or get to claim the slightest criticism is about gender when it isn't.

It's also the same dev who was glad Totalbiscuit died, so frankly, I'm glad she got fired.

Ah, where I started with C#, this will be fun, alright...

First code block, use score as a parameter... as you seem to be trying to do, but its not quite right, there arent any functions needed, its like this:

private int score; // Create a variable to store the value public int Score { // Create the parameter get { return score; // if we want to get the value of Score, just return the variable we made earlier (the private one) } set { score = value; // value is a C# keyword, it basically just is used so that when you say Score = whatever; it runs this code, and value is replaced with whatever } } 2nd code block, a few things:
    1. From this im guessing you are making a game where you jump up as far as you can go without falling?
    2. you dont need anything in the ToString() method, just leave the inside of those parenthesis blank
    3. add all the classes to a namespace so you can access them from each other, its also good practice for when you work with others
    4. You dont need to have all that running in Update, just make some events that if the player moves up, have the height counter update, and show the new value on the text box you are using, dont do this for when they fall and just label the text box "best height" or something like that, then add an event for when they start falling, set the score based on the highest height reached so far.

3rd code block, just use the parameter properly, everything else is fine, also put it in a namespace

EDIT: Almost forgot, it would help a lot more if you told is what error you are getting... all I was able to do was correct mistakes based on guesses as to what you are doing, and just correcting bad practice, cant really do much more without more info!
