no chance in hell... Some shops will stil try to sell their 980/980ti's for 700-900 euro's (sorry US/Canadians)... So I don't see the 1070/1080 launching beneath that price...

Since the R9 390 is a 300W TDP card and the 1080 is rated at 180W tdp... I'd say you're good !

eurofag reporting in :-) I'm a 29 DZ10 at this point in... Finished main story few days ago... Need to finish the side mission and the encouters to get to 30 ... did some co-op with a friend who's 30 and o-boy,... doing mission on HARD gives you al purple and yellow enemies :-D Big fun !

Since the user asked for 4 drives... you haven't... Buy a 4bay synology 416 series with the plex optional You have the android app, you can use plex or any other program from synology to stream video/audio to your dorm room.

If it's just for data storage, then a 'simple' nas will do... If you're overthinking PLEX with multiple clients that need transcoding -> QNAP TS563 with 8Gb mem or a Synology equivalent of some sort.
