Don't overclock. That PSU is very likely a unit with poor electrical performance.

bottomline yes that is enough watts for your system draw even overclocked 

Acetone is the only thing I've heard recommended for removal of thermal adhesive, but if the heatsink is already applied it'll be hard to get the acetone/solvent in contact with it to actually remove it.
 
I basically just resigned myself to believing that when I get rid of my GPU with my aftermarket heatsink on it, it's gonna have to be sold as-is. For me at least, it wouldn't be worth the risk of breaking off a memory chip trying to remove the ram sinks.

I would try alcohol first, since it is not such an aggressive solvent and most glues can be readily dissolved in it.

Use some high % isopropyl alcohol and a paper towel.

Only bottle neck will be your skill level, lol.
 
This is a seriously solid build, only thing that will bottleneck is the refresh rate of your monitor. 

All the reviews say it's dried up and those are from 2 years ago but thanks I'll just buy some more
