  1. i have a gtx 770 in the build. dual fan. one of the fans has a cracked single fin. it is creating fome clicking against the plastic part surounding it (sorry i have no clue what its called). i tried bending it back but it only stays bent for a few minutes then it goes back to clicking. can i just cut off the single cracked fin or will that create a huge issue?
  2. over the past few months about 20 times while i have been using my pc it wil crash. everything goes black and the monitor says no display. i also get no sound. i am forced to turn off the pc when this happens but just pressing the power buton doesnt work i need to hold down the power button. all of the lighting stays on. all my graphics drivers are up to date. i have an rx 580 r5 1600 and all matching 3200 speed memory. any thoughts?
  3. i have an evga 600 watt bq power supply. i have had it for about 2.5 years now and this is the fist time i have had this issue. i was doing some trouble shooting today with my motherboard today which required me unplugging the power supply. upon pluging it back in (with the power switch in the ON position) it made a poof sound then a sizzle shortly after. it still booted fine. once again i had more trouble shooting to do. this time upon pluging it in i had the switch OFF but when i turned it in it made the poof then sizzle. is this something i should worry about. like do i need a pew power supply asap?
  4. i ran whocrashed and it told me that had the system service exception error twice since three days ago. i will be looking online for ways to fix this. do you have any ways off of the top of your head?

  6. I knew it wasnt a corrupt installation because I reinstalled twice but forgot to mention that. Games are still crashing but today is the first day in weeks that I haven’t bluescreened. Crashing was never a problem for the though until about 2 weeks ago.
  7. i am able to update windows now i am no longer getting that error message when trying to update. when i reinstalled windows i just used the media creation tool and it brought me to the screen where you select the drives and i deleted all of the partitions and it remade them for itself when it was reinstalled.
  8. the cpu overclock is 3.7ghz. the temps are around 45 c for the cpu for the graphics card its around 68. i never took notes on the messages but one was page fault in non paged error and one was something about a kernel error. i will update you if i have another blue screen i surprisingly haven't had one today. when i did look them up tho they did all say that it could be a hard drive issue but the crystal disk info said otherwise.
  9. i am having chronic crashing in games and blue screening when playing games as well. to fix the problem i have tried a windows memory test memtest 86 memory test old memory updating gpu drivers wiping my hdd downloading crystaldiskinfo reinstalling windows all of my temperatures are fine the only things i have left to do is try my old graphics card and update my bios and remove my cpus overclock. the cpu has been overclocked for 6 months and i havent noticed any issues until about a 2 weeks ago. i havent updated my bios since i have gotttten my motherboard but im not sure how it would affect the crashing. help would be greatly appreciated. a few other helpful thing is i cant update windows because it gives me an error message . my specs are ryzen5 1600 asus prime x470 pro msi rx 580 wd blue 1tb 16 gb 3000 speed team group memory

  12. i am having problems with my computer and i downloaded crystal disk info to see if there was a drive problem. im not sure what numbers to read. there is the raw values which most of them are at zero.(i think that means everything is fine but im not sure) and the current and worst values. what do the current and worst values mean if they mean anything at all.some of the worst and curent values are higher than the threshold and i have no clue if that means anything at all. any help would be appreciated.
