  1. Sorry for the delayed reply, we will be running a server so I'd imagine the cpu being important. Which cpu would you recommend for our use case?
  2. The company I am working for is receiving 2 RTX Quadro 8000s and an NVLink bridge from Nvidia, but we currently do not have a workstation and need some advice on parts to choose. I've built home/gaming pcs in the past, but done any workstation builds. Any advice is greatly appreciated as I do not know very much about this level of hardware.
  3. Thanks! PSUs are the one thing that I know barely anything about.
  4. I'm planning to do that in the future, getting 16 gigs of 3200 ddr4 is to pricey right now.
  5. I've been planning my build for quite some time know and am about ready to pull the trigger. I would like someone who knows more than me to check it over for me. Here is the pc part picker link https://pcpartpicker.com/list/mBhcbX. I have a budget of about $1000-1150. I will be adding 2 TB HDD and another 8 GB of ram in the future.
  6. I'm hoping that crypto will die out so I can get a 1070 for around 400 later this year, which is why I'm waiting. Also thanks for the PSU tips.
  7. I'm open to either, but prefer the price to performance that Ryzen provides.
  8. I'm planning on building a new system later this year, and being a first time builder I thought it would be good to get some help from people who knew what they were talking about. If you have any advice or improvements I can make please let me know. Part List Here are some things you might need to know Planning on adding ssd later. Don't know much about Motherboards or PSUs. I have a budget of about $1000. I like RGB but it isn't a necessity. I plan on doing light overclocking. I will be using stock cooler until I can afford AIO cooler. I want something that I can upgrade in the future.
