  1. I went through a network operations as a Junior network admin then moved my way up with a high school diploma. You could possibly do that.
  2. I don't, I like having a little background noise so i'll turn on a documentary and go to sleep.
  3. I'd get my parents the ecobee3. Their eyesight is getting worse and worse and our current thermostat has a really tiny display that's getting faded out. They complain that it's either too hot or too cold and they have to wait for one of the kids to come home before one of us can change it. It'd be nice for them to be able to see the readings and adjust from their phone or on the giant display of the unit. http://www.amazon.com/Ecobee3-Thermostat-Remote-Sensor-Generation/dp/B00NXRYUDA?SubscriptionId=AKIAJ2RTWSYJUOAO3DIA&tag=bom_tomsguide-20&linkCode=xm2&camp=2025&creative=165953&creativeASIN=B00NXRYUDA&tzd=21&ascsubtag=[site|tguus[cat|[art|[pid|B00NXRYUDA[tid|14497699647753803[bbc|LESPRIX
  4. https://www.massdrop.com/buy/lg-24-or-27-ips-led-battlestation After 400+ votes, this mass drop is back. Just thought i'd post this here to let everyone know. Monitors are only HDMI and D-SUB i believe.
  5. Decided to pull the trigger and buy one of these and i'm actually impressed with what they did with this product. http://www.amazon.com/cheero-Energy-Plus-12000mAh-Multidevice/dp/B00LAEBJNM#cm_cr_dpwidget Packaging was okay, it came in a plastic enclosure that wasn't hard to open at all, wrapped in a layer of bubble wrap, with bags of air around it, in an amazon labeled box. Packaging could have far worse and I still wouldn't have minded because this thing is just a brick. I doubt anything could have been damaged in shipping. The unit itself is quite large, it's about half an inch longer than an iPhone 5s with a lifeproof case on it. What is included: Owners manual (1 page folded) 1 AC to USB adapter 1 USB to Micro USB (I believe) chord 1 Cheero Energy Plus Unit If you don't like chinese products, this isn't a product for you. The box has chinese lettering all over it (may be japanese, i'm not sure how to tell the difference yet) When I first received the unit, I plugged it into the wall right away. 4 hours later, came back and saw it was fully charged. Afterwards I decided to drain my iphone battery and see how many times I could charge my iphone 5s from 10%-100% on one charge of the cheero energy plus. Needless to say, i'm impressed. It gave me 6 charges from 10-100% and one charge from 10-75% before running out of juice. Because this thing is so large, I don't see myself carrying it around in my pocket, on a daily basis, but I could definitely see myself taking this camping with me, or anywhere where I'm not sure if i'll be able to charge my phone for a while (conferences, etc) For $30 bucks, it's pretty damn good deal too.
  6. How big is the game file? It would suck to download the game and have it close within a couple of hours haha But i'd like to try it out, it was on my list of games I want to play this year. lol
  7. After seeing the sponsor slot on a video archive of the WAN show, and seeing slick wearing a shirt from the company and think "Hey, I think I'll like some of their clothes, lets try it out." Do a quick sign up, quick survey, entered in my credit card information, and Boom. I'm done. Fast forward a couple of weeks and I get the package of clothes, they're neatly folded, decent quality. I'd say they're about the same quality as like old navy or some of the cheaper express men stuff. Overall, they picked out stuff that was good looking, but I wouldn't say it was $120 worth. I got a dress shirt and 2 tee shirts, at most the dress shirt looked and felt like a 50 dollar one at express and the Tees felt like you could get them for 15-20 at old navy. But hey, I paid 45 dollars for it, who cares right? I decided to wait one month and see if the full $60 dollar price would be any better, but it turned out to be very similar to the first one, another dress shirt and two tees. That's when I decided I wanted to cancel. I go on their website and look for how to cancel on their FAQ, and it says for "For security reasons we can only process your cancellation once you have spoken to our customer service representative." WTF. Okay, They've got a 24/7 line to call so I can cancel right? Nope. I have to call between 9am-5pm PST. I live in central time zone, so that's 11am-7pm for me. I work the night shift so I sleep from 9am-5pm, giving me roughly two hours to call them to cancel. No big deal right? " *Please note that we are currently experiencing a high volume of phone calls. If your call to us drops, please do not hesitate to call back at a later time." They have this excuse written on their website so calling to try to cancel, I get dropped after 15 minutes of waiting. In about 12 hours, I'll try calling them again, and I'll update when I am finally able to cancel my subscription. TL;DR: Clothes are OKAY, and trying to cancel has been a total nightmare for the past 2 days (Friday and Monday because they arent open on the weekends)
  8. Changing the functions of the bottom buttons seems really nice, and also the texting without closing an application would be amazing.
  9. Like the page, get your free stuff, and unlike it right away. It's what I do at least
