  1. what do you mean? I'm in the files now and i cant see any way to change anything like that
  2. yea but i dont want it to fill the screen, i want it in a 1080p boks in the middle. for some reason i cant get a screenshot of it to show
  3. A while ago i got my UW screen (Samsung 34" LED Curved FreeSynC C34F791) and i've been having problems with some games being stretched out making them impossible to play and some just playing nicely and not doing that. One of the games I've had many problems with is fallout 4 but strangely one of the games that's given me the least amount of trubble is fallout NV. I have a GTX1070Ti as my gpu but i can't see anything in the nvidia control panel to fix it. Do you guys have any ideas?
  4. trust me there was no 6+2 in the box, ive checked several times but out of the psu comes a dual 6+2 ( that is connected inside the PSU) that i am currently using for my current amd sapphire radeon hd 7950. so if i just use one of the 6+2 should that be fine? as far as i know there shouldt be a danger if i underpower the card but idk
  5. i was wrong, the one i have is XFX Proseries XXX edition 750w
  6. ive checked and the cable that i have connected to my graphics card now comes from inside the PSU and ends in a dual 6+2 connector, is that ok to use? (and i found out that my PSU is a XFX Proseries XXX edition 750w)
  7. im trying to find a dual 6 to 8pin but cant find one that arrives within reasonable time or dosent cost wayyyyy too much, seriusly someone is trying to charge 750$ for one on amazon. i live in norway so idk about any big sellers of cables here
  8. Im 99% sure that this is the PSU i have but im not that good at finding info like that https://www.eteknix.com/xfx-pro-750w-black-edition-review/
  9. how big is the chance that i need to switch out the PSU too? since the right cable didn't come with it, is there a chance?
  10. I just ordered my new 1070TI, so i look at my 8 pin connectors and for some reason it says CPU. I look at a pic of the graphics card I bought and the input looks different but that can just be because the picture is at an angle. The cable came with my PSU that i bought 5 years ago so idk if there has been any changes since then. (and by different i look at what connectors are square and some has an arc)
  11. Never mind i had a 8 pin connector in the box, it had just been hiding really well. Thanks for the help though -Julian
  12. Hey i'm just wondering since my old card uses double 6 pin so i have no 8 pin laying around, so do i have to order one when i order my new card or is that generally included? The card im gonna buy is the Asus GTX1070TI ROG STRIX https://www.asus.com/Graphics-Cards/ROG-STRIX-GTX1070TI-8G-GAMING/overview/ Thanks -Julian
  13. No they are both TI I'll add the links to where i buy them, a lot will be in Norwegian but you can use the translate in Crome to change it Advanced edition: https://www.komplett.no/product/960298/datautstyr/pc-komponenter/skjermkort/asus-geforce-gtx-1070-ti-rog-strix# TI Normal: https://www.komplett.no/product/960296/datautstyr/pc-komponenter/skjermkort/asus-geforce-gtx-1070-ti-rog-strix# i've looked at their sheets and it says that there is almost no difference between them. Their clock speeds are almost the same, cuda cores are the same, the only difference i could find was that the normal one has "2.5-slot Fan Cooler" and the AD does not
  14. but is the TI Advanced worth the 80$ more or is it sorta the same as an OC? I dont know that much about graphics cards so i just want to be sure i dont get ripped off Thanks -Julian
  15. but what about normal TI and Advanced edition TI? is it worth 80$ more?
  16. Hey i'm trying to figure out which graphics card i'm going to buy, my amd sapphire radeon hd 7950 is getting a little old especially after my second one died a few weeks after the warranty went out (coincidence?). But this time i want to switch over to NVIDIA since my experience with amd isnt that good, so i thought i'll just buy a 1070 since for me that's an affordable card that packs a punch, but as i go to my countrys form of amazon for tech (Komplett) to look at Asus's GeForce GTX 1070 ROG Strix Gaming but then i see that its an OC-Edition, does this just mean its overclocked out of the box? it costs around 5 799 nok (750$), but then i go to look at ASUS Geforce GTX 1070 Ti ROG Strix that is 100 nok (13$) cheaper for some reason and then i see that there is an advanced edition of the TI for 600nok (80$) more. i've tried to look for whats the best and if the TI Advanced edition is really worth the 600 nok. From all the reviews i've seen they say that the 1070 IT is basically a 1080 after overclocking but i'm just not sure. i've tried to look at the speck sheets at the site and it says that the 1070 OC has better clockspeed out of the box but then again i dont know if that is because its sold already overclocked. Any conformations would be helpful -Julian
