  1. Do you think a USB sound card would be better suited for me? The only reason I'm opting for a PCI one is because I hear some USB versions have some kind of weird hissing or they stop working after some amount of time. Thank you for your reply btw.
  2. I have an older desktop with a z97 board; after fiddling around for about 2 hours and disabling the front ports, I figured the audio sensor is completely busted since it's detecting headphones being plugged in when nothing's plugged in at all in any ports. I'd like some recommendations on an internal PCI sound card. I'm not too picky about the audio quality as long as it's on par with any standard mobo onboard. I was considering the Creative Sound Blaster Audigy FX PCIe 5.1, but I'd like some feedback before I go out and purchase.
  3. Hi, so like I'm a little undecided on what mobo to get for my 8100. Not sure what the price range for the H boards would be; but some places said under $150. There's a few boards on sale MSI Z370 GAMING PLUS and GIGABYTE Z370P D3 (which has some poor reviews); which are like under 150 too. I'm not too picky about I/Os and I'd prefer something entry level cheap: so should I wait for H series to come out or would getting a z board that's on sale be better. Another thing would be, on h-Boards or any other boards for future reference, I can down-clock Ram like if I happen to get 3000, I could clock it down to the 2400, so long as the DIMM allows me to right?
