  1. I'd like for some of you to give me the green light on this build or make some adjustments if needed. My vision for this build is the norm of 1080p 60+ FPS on high settings and possibly dabble in some 1440p. Finally have the funds to buy all of these parts now if build is good to go. Budget for this is $1000 USD but can stretch to $1200 if a significant boost in performance is achieved. Thanks in advance!

Yep, your list is private unfortunately. According to your previous posts you are located in the US, correct?

Since we can't see your build (yet) here's a potential build for you.

If you can't stretch the budget that far, go with an 5700XT instead of the 2070 Super and you will be within budget.

If you want more storage you can get a 500GB MX500 SSD and a 2TB Seagate Barracuda HDD instead.

Apologies for that, should be public now. Very much appreciate your build.

  3. Can I get some of you folks to review this build I put together. I'm new to this so apologies if this list is a mess.

My vision for this build is to play at 1080p 144hz.

I'm up for swapping parts out if needed, I have a budget of $1000 so go at it.

    Thanks in advance.

You could do something like this, it's a great starter and can be upgraded easily. And should be able to do most games including AAAs at around 60fps on custom settings at 1080p.

Yeah, I figured that would be the case with my small budget. For the time being this should be fine as I want to ease myself into it and slowly learn how a PC works etc. Lets say I can let loose another $100, what other improvements can be made? Also, much thanks.

  5. As the title suggest, I'm here for guidance from the PC master race. Know little to nothing about PCs so I'm looking for a complete build.

Not looking for anything crazy expensive atm so budget for build is $600 USD. Open to anything and willing to raise budget if better gaming experience is provided.

    Peripherals already taken care of.

What games are you looking to play?  What monitor do you have, or WANT TO have?  Monitor resolution determines GPU required, in simple terms. Only gaming?  Do you want to do video editing, streaming, etc?

What else do you need?  Monitor?  Keyboard?  Mouse?  Speakers/headset?  Does this all come out of the $1200?

One of my mistakes when building my first PC 20+ years ago was not including the peripherals in my budget.  So I was using a free cheap keyboard, mouse, speakers, etc. for years :)

Edit:  Lol, just beat me to it.  I'd swap in the 6GB 1060 for a bit higher framerates, but otherwise I like the above build.

I'd like for gaming and everyday use.. Been doing FPS all my life with the occasional Single player games like Uncharted series and Fallout! I will handle the peripherals on the side.

Edit: Uncharted is Playstation exclusive my bad lol

  7. Been gaming on console for as long as I can remember, and I'm finally ready to make the switch to PC!

As the title suggest I'm looking to build a Gaming PC!

I'm a complete noob and would greatly appreciate the help.

    Budget: $800-$1200 USD

Budget only includes the PC as I will pick my own peripherals.
