  1. You get wayyy more fps than me right now...on just the x5650 stock and a 1060 I don't get very good fps but it's just barely enough to run most games.
  2. no just anything I tried plugging up to sata it's dead...
  3. Water Man, but Now Might as well be on airrr now and it's loudness...this new pump has a slight hum and whine to it...actually kinda annoying it's more audible than I would like. Not the most Silent thing anymore.
  4. WC stuff. Got a cool Pump Upgrade today, $30 pump from China is kicking that ACR pumps Butt one that comes in the EK kit. It does seem to be Performing Better. Man yall need to get a hold of this one it is Dope. alittle Noisey though.
  5. Is you're Pump Dead? I bought some 30$ 500L/H pump from China because it seemed like the ACR pump in the ek kit slowed down alittle bit. And figured Id need a backup. The China Pump is a little Noisey but I do think it's performing slightly better and it holds like a 100ml more water...Gives the ACR a run for the money.
  6. Well it looks like something Similar to all the Carbon Based Compounds, just some are better than others...but it's the difference too of thickness applied like mentioned and I think they put way too much. really the die just needs a light coat and that's it and should be sufficient. So MX4 is an Excellent Candidate for my Testing of this. Will find out the Result's Next week.
  7. Yeah kind of disappointed in them too about it. O well another mod to perform.
  8. Yeah I don't know why they wanted to change that and went away from the Solder. different too older chips bigger die and physically bigger and lid bigger more surface area...that's why they were pretty easy and acceptable to cool. Most of them ran pretty cool really.
  9. It looks baddd man like something Generic and they put too much on imo. Big old blob of it...I lightly put a coat of MX4 on and just hope got a good contact with the Lid. 7700k should do really well...telling ya though go to you're local Lowe's or home depot and get that clear a little better Silicone. usually a bit bigger tube of the stuff...it's exactly like the stuff used around Bath Tubs/Sinks whatever etc...good stuff dried in about 4 hours and it is stuck on there well...I wouldn't use some of those Glue's some were using on it. Delidded with some 20$ Tool worked real well. We should start a Delidding Service and fix this mishap with it all. Can't wait to see the Result's.
  10. Oh I adore them though, been pretty fair on prices and have deals every now and then. just ordered again another board a Supermicro z board..so that's cool...You can expect Quality with them. and suppose to get my New Pump in today Idk cool little unit the cheaper kinda budget China stuff, I'll have some backup.
  11. Can you debug? any post codes error codes?...motherboard or the cpu it sounds like.
  12. Yeah it's the CX650m...yeah it don't turn on hardrives or anything it's like there's no power and dead.
  13. It's conductive though you don't want to get the stuff on anything. Gotta like spread it then wipe the rest off. It probably works great on dies. I'll probably end up trying that being I still have some. But I want to see how bad the Intel Tim their using now is...it looks like some of those real Generic tims.
  14. just look for another Pump. some suitable Replacement. yeah z170/270 been weird with boards man...the gigabyte ran for like 6 months than just started power cycling out of no where.... the ftw K had only like a month and when I first got it it didn't post immediately and was getting stuck on some of those boot up codes...reset cmos then it was fine for like a month, then it just shutdown one day and started throwing a memory code reset it was fine again for awhile...then finally didn't want to post and like 3 codes repeating some bios stuff and related. 4C FF 00 stuff and repeating....definitely don't look good the 4C and 00.... Maybe just bad luck.
  15. Ancient it is man wow, you need to go to the retro thread lol
  16. No the HDD's I mean the Seagate or the Toshiba's but you said you already found a 2tb with 128mb cache.
  17. I haven't kept up with the Apple side I don't know... been like 10 years dude lol
  18. It was 40$ unit idk rma that? lol..guess I could I tried to sign up through their site but it wasn't working...
  19. Get the Barracuda's only like a 100$ each. X300 is a little more but might be worth it..probably built better.
  20. I guess man...just wanted something that worked really. Seen quite a few of those Apevia units run for quite some time the older ones. The good of the bad or something...I thought they got better with the CX's too I guess not Lol. Next round will do it right and get a nicer Unit again.
  21. yeah if I could find a 2tb like that wouldn't mind that. You can fill up just a tb anymore quick between gaming and whatever else media junk.
  22. Think of the Radiator as just Capacity...you probably could get by with a 240mm. really the 360mm even the slim ones are better have a lot of surface area with that length. But if space was an issue and could fit a thickkk 240mm somewhere, that's definitely an option. Kinda want to just get a nice thickkk 360mm, running open anyways...
  23. Yeah Liquor sounds good too, I like it man but don't get me wrong the type where you start drinking you want to keep drinking etc that addictive Grasp that takes hold, so a lot of it's been avoided for quite some time now.
