I think it is safe to say that there won't be 3080 Ti, despite what some people were suggesting. I guess the 20 GB version of 3080 won't be any faster either.

Tho Nvidia will probably release card that is even faster than 3090 in a year or so.

Pretty much every consumer brand out there has bad units available (although I would say be Quiet! comes closest to being legit, I mean their cheapest offering isn't that bad, however, Power Zone PSUs don't make much sense). Sadly, what happens quite often is people seek for recommendations, find some kind of brand, then proceed to buy the cheapest unit from that brand, effectively getting crap.

This is false. 

High heat is countered by higher quality, more efficient components and ACTIVE COOLING, aka fan. And like Luke already said, good PSUs can work in 40c. I have seen people mention that loading PSUs up to 80% of capacity is fine for daily use, but frankly, I am not aware of any proper experiments done to test that theory. 

Maybe Gamers Nexus will be up for it some time in the future?

It will most likely be quite a bit cheaper to make your own.

A12x25 are definitely the best fans, but Arctic P12s are so damn close you probably shouldn't buy Noctuas.

out of those id look at the G2, but right now the enermax Revolution DF is a steal in a lot of locations.

Congratulations, you have killed your PSU. You are not supposed to turn off the PSU switch at the back constantly.

Turning the PSU off/on from the switch causes additional stress on the PSU. It's not good for it and it can cause premature wear. Modern power supplies use very little power when the system is shut down/in sleep states so there's little reason to turn it off when you're not using it. I'd only switch it off if you're swapping hardware or unplugging it to move it around. Even if you were turning it on and off every day it shouldn't have failed after only a month though. Contact Corsair support and have it replaced. When you get a replacement just leave it switched on.
 
Disable the LEDs from the motherboard BIOS settings, or don't buy products with unnecessary RGB. 

Or they could just let the PC go to sleep instead of shutting it down....
