  1. Long story short, before i got the hot swap plate for the Lancool 2, my hard drive was working fine. now that i have it, the drive isn't being detected anywhere (including disk management and bios), the blue light on the HDD tray is on, but not the red one. i have AHCI and sata hot swap enabled in bios (mobo is Asus Strix B450-F with latest bios 3003) .....what to do?
  2. I've replaced my 1060 with an EVGA 1080 SC, and now both my side monitors have this weird interference type thing. Both are running DP to VGA adaptors, my main monitor is unaffected. I've tried using DDU to uninstall and then reinstall the drivers to no avail. Attached is a video of the screen 20180923_123526.mp4
  3. problem workaround, I moved my headset input from the pc to the one on the monitor
  4. its running off the 2x6 pin to 8pin adaptor that came with the card, not the molex
  5. I've just swapped out my old 1060 3GB for an EVGA 1080 SC Gaming, and now I'm getting a static noise from my headset, in both front and back audio jacks, and it gets louder in games, this didn't happen with the 1060, nor another 1080 (an MSI 1080 Armor that I brought back because it was too big for my case). My PSU is the required 500 watts for the 1080. whats going on here?
  6. I found it in my granddad's computer room. must've had it years along with all his other crap. I swear I saw a Commodore 64 box somewhere in there, along with anything basically analog computer stuff. I've currently got my own computer that's only a few months old, a newborn compared to that fossil @ElfarrWi1
  7. Before I spend hundreds of dollars (not anytime soon, just for the upgrade route of my rig), I've currently got an I5-7400 Installed on this board So i wanna know, is the i-7 compatible with this board?
  8. Update: Sacrificed a pen to clear the webs, blew away loose dust from the big fan, back fan, and top of power supply. Side note, just how old is this?
  9. Remember that video Linus did about the year long dust experiment with 3 different fan configs? I see those dust cases and raise you granddads what appears to be an older budget rig. Btw, is there any hope in saving this or is it a permanent fire hazard?
