  1. The mobo handles most of the sound nowadays so it wouldn't actually impact your performance much
  2. This is a little high although it is still safe. The div 2 is very cpu intensive so it should be expected that the cpu is pushed harder. I think you should check your application of thermal compound first and check your case airflow to see if there's anything you did wrong. Etc too much Pste or too many intake /output fans
  3. Also, do you wear shoes at home?/wherever you use your laptop. If you do just step off onto the ground for a bit and you should be fine
  4. What is the casing of your laptop? And also I think you should try charging when it's off. I don't think it hurts your laptop. I think it is better than charging while using it
  5. earlier today, my laptop was working fine. I shut it down and left it unplugged. Just now when I tried to boot it up (not plugged in) it just wouldn't boot. Then when I plugged it in it booted. However, after I got into Windows and did stuff for around 1 minute it just instantly shut shut off. I tried again to go to the bios and the same thing happened but this time there was a very audible pop sound when it shut off. Anyone has any ideas of why it is shutting off? I already checked for overheating
  6. So i bought a windows 7 product key on ebay. But after i got the key, i found out that it could only be used for activating win 7 inside of windows 7 and that i couldnt use it to create an iso file for me to boot/install from. I know with win 10 you can get an unactivated version. does this also exist with win 7 so i can still activate it.
  7. No problem :p. But that was kinda risky, I wasnt sure that it was a problem with your psu so you could have just wasted some money. Also a decent 500w one should have been ok, it's just the oem ones that suck
  8. look at your devices in obs Make sure your device for the game capture(on obs) says "game capture HD60 (video)#1" instead of "El.Gato HD capture" then set the buffering to disable. It(the buffering option) will only appear if you have the device set correctly
  9. you might also want to turn buffering off on the Video Capture Device properties
  10. have you set the profile of the elgato 60s to HD 1080 and allow 60 fps?
