Okay, odd flex, but I didn't ask what you thought was a "worthy upgrade."  I asked if anyone was interested in a certain product coming out, that I happen to be interested in and fairly excited about.  If you're not, that's fine.  I didn't start this thread to talk the semantics of if an upgrade is "worthy" or not.

You are awesome for helping your parents. I run a repair shop and you would not believe how often people come and spend money with me for simple stuff like this because they do not have anyone willing to help them out. Anyways, I recommend backing up all the important data and doing a fresh install of windows 10. The PC should run much smoother as a result.

There are some threads about it but i see u use an asus board ! Deinstall sonic suite, ai suite andnif you have rivertuner ! They are broken and cause things like that

If the system isn't even POSTing I don't think you need to worry about the drivers. We just want to see if it POSTs reliably with a different GPU installed.
 
If possible do you have another box you could put the question GPU in?

uBlock Origin. All I've needed for the past few years. I used to have PushBullet but have since forgotten/stopped using it.

My default browser has been Firefox all the way since beta. It's not a perfect browser but it's been really stable since they released Quantum. I do need to use IE/Edge/Chrome for different reasons due to work but Chrome has been the most fun to watch grow into a mutant monster in the last years.

And if you look closely, Dennis appears to be eating the cat.

None of them significantly perform higher or lower than another. 
 
Both the sapphire and xfx have easily replaceable fans. 
 
Id look into who has he better customer support. 

they all cool well enough while being quiet, but I would recommend sapphire pulse
