  1. Hi. I was in my local vape shop today and the guys are a bunch of gamers. They said you could get XBOX software on PC from the Microsoft Store it's like an application you can install. They also said that you can use a XBOX One controller for games on PC. Questions: * What type of controller do I need to work with the games? * Can I get a custom controller? * What types of custom controller brands do you recommend? * What's the application I need to install on PC to get all this to work? Thanks. I'm really a noob when it comes to this type of stuff.
  2. I ended up turning the computer off and re-seating some of the DIMMs and swapping their location and it fixed the problem. Now I have full Mystic Light control with all modules working full RGB, although their G.Skill lighting app still doesn't work.
  3. Hi I recently bought 64 GB of G.Skill Trident Z RGB RAM (model F4-3200C16Q-32GTZR). This is 8 modules total of RAM being used on a MSI X299 GAMING M7 ACK motherboard. I have a problem of: 1) After a restart Dimm slots B1, B2, A1 and A2 are un-lit and have no RGB lights on. 2) Dimm slots C2, C1, D2 and D1 are all lit and are using a RGB pattern which I think is the rainbow wave. 3) I cannot configure the RGB to work using either the 1.06.68 Trident Z RGB Control or the 1.00.03 Royal Lighting Control software. 4) Trying to use MSI Mystic Light to control the RAM lighting will only change the lights on 3 out of the 8 Dimms specifically dimms B1, A1 and A2. 5 out of the 8 dimms cannot be changed with Mystic Light. Any help or thoughts would be appreciated to get all of the Dimms configurable with RGB and on the same color or pattern. This RAM package cost me about $450 US. Other than the lighting problems the RAM works flawlessly at the rated speeds and voltage.

  5. Projector Central is a good resource. http://www.projectorcentral.com/projectors.cfm I've used Optoma Projectors in the past and they're pretty good.
  6. Why not get a drive of equal or larger size and then clone the drive that way. Then you'll have extra space. Changing out a hard drive shouldn't require you to re-activate Windows, but I'm not sure.
  7. This should list all of your options https://www.144hzmonitors.com/list-of-g-sync-monitors/
  8. Depends on the speed whether or not you're overclocking. I would go with 16 GB. The kit below is on your qualified vendor list. https://www.newegg.com/global/gr/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820232543&cm_re=F4-2133C15D-32GFT-_-20-232-543-_-Product http://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/X370 Taichi/#Memory
  9. WIth those games it matters what resolution you're playing at because sometimes if you game over 1080 the game's not optimized for that resolution and the frame rate drops.
  10. You may want to check the CD Freak forum. That's the biggest site I know of dedicated to optical software. https://club.myce.com/
  11. This may be something on your TV with a setting like dynamic contrast, HDR or dynamic brightness. My LG TV has settings for lots of stuff like this and I always turn it off.
  12. Have you tried a command prompt with del /f /s ? Sounds like the drive's file tree is corrupted.
