  1. Within warranty: nope out of warranty: sure I applied liquid metal to my 2012 15” retina MacBook Pro, no throttling & fan at minimum , video below ;

  3. none of my macbooks (2012 retina, 2014 13 retina and 2016 13 touchbar) throttle however the fans sound like a jet engine when doing cpu intensive workloads for me, LM allow the fans to spin at a vastly lower rate even at full load
  4. I replaced the TIM on my 2012 MacBook Pro Retina 15” with liquid Metal the biggest difference is at full load With fresh TIM (thermal grizzly kryonaut) it didn’t throttle but fans went at full max With LM it went to 100C and fans only at 2500 RPM
