After the latest update, my windows defender has started to behave oddly. it is blocking a lot of my software to access files in the hard drive, along with all the games in my steam library. I have not changed anything after the update which would have triggered this. please help!

Can I install a graphics card that I bought in Australia on my PC in India? To be specific, I want to install a "Gigabyte GTX 1060 6 Gb" that is significantly cheaper in Australia, would I be able to install it in my system "ryzen 7 1700x". Do I need a different set of power cables or not? And yes just to be clear, my friend who is visiting India has agreed to bring me the graphics card, it is going to be for personal use I am not going to sell it for a profit.

hi, i have recently made a computer with ryzen 7 1700x on an ax370 gigabyte motherboard with 16 gigs of ram and a hyper h410r cooler. i have been monitoring my cpu temperature for the last 24 hours. at ideal the temperature stays in the range of 32-56 degree Celsius. and at 100 percent load at a clock speed of about 3500, it was at about 70 degrees Celcius(but I didn't run it for long) is this temperature normal, if not I am pretty sure that the installation guy didn't install the cooler correctly as he put a lot of thermal paste as it was oozing out of the crease where the cpu and cooler come in contact.

ASUS MOTHERBOARD PRIME X370-PRO - INR 12600 = USD 190 MSI MOTHERBOARD X370 GAMING PRO - same as above ASUS MOTHERBOARD ROG STRIX B350-F GAMING(this is out of stock everywhere) - INR 10000 = USD 150 MSI MOTHERBOARD B350 TOMAHAWK - INR 9000 = USD 140 what should i go for if i choose 370 or 350? i have seen reviews of almost all of them but it all rendered inconclusive to me.

thanks, i am an artist and i work on 3d models, animation and renders as well as video production. i am going to be working on software like Maya, 3ds max, blender, after effects, premiere pro, photoshop etc i am going to game a little bit(i don't want to go out of the way to improve the gaming performance) yes, i would like to overclock the system if it enhances the performance. but this would be my first attempt at overclocking. i really appreciate you taking the time. thanks

well i do not understand what this means to me since i am not much familiar with computer hardware. i just want to know if an x370 motherboard will have better performance than a b350 motherboard

hi, i want to make a ryzen 7 1700 CPU based workstation. my primary use for the pc is going to be 3d modeling/rendering, video production(adobe premiere/after effects/photoshop) and a little gaming. i would like some suggestion for motherboard because i am really confused if i should go for a b350 or an x370(i don't really know the difference) and i would also like suggestions about the other components as well. thanks
