  1. the cooler comes with pre-applied thermal paste but it looked all dried up. I didnt mean that i put more on just put on better.
  2. yeah I just applied more thermal paste it should be fine
  3. at what multiplier do you think I would have to start changing voltages? Just for future reference
  4. Looking to overclock to at least 4.5ghz but not entirely too sure how to do so. i tried finding guides but they all told me different things. Cooler: evga clc 280 | motherboard: ASUS ROG Strix Z390-E
  5. So my pc has started to crash suddenly and randomly with LOUD static coming through the headphones. This happens in games and outside of games. I read that it could be my ram overheating but I need a second opinion. My specs: cpu - i7 6700 (default ghz) mobo - asus z170 pro gaming gpu - MSI gtx 980 armor harddrive - WD Blue 2TB Internal cpu fan - Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo psu - EVGA 500 BR ram - corsair vengeance 8x8 16gb
  6. theres nothing behind the black parts, just the case edge. You cant fit anything between it either I tried to but its like a half cm gap. Also you would definitely be able to see the light strips clear as day
  7. I can probably figure a way to route them, what rbg strips are you using?
  8. So I am looking for some good case lights that have a remote and colors can be changed. I have the NZXT H500 case and I am wondering what lights I should buy and how I should install them. The glass panel has no edges and you would be able to see the lights if you put them around it, I just need some advice on how I should install them to look best. What my case looks like:
  9. hmm I'll try and find something, its a very awkward spot as well because some of the case covers the slots
  10. So I tried to do what was explained in this video but my screws dont fit in the hole above the graphics card slot so I think I;m screwed then.
  11. Alright, so I know this could either be an issue with the case or GPU or a combination of both but basically I bought my graphics card a few days ago (its a big boy card) and I installed it into my motherboard/case and I noticed that at the right side of the card was a noticeable amount of sagging. I'm not really too sure how to fix this, I've tried putting it in different ways but nothing seems to work. My case is the NZXT H500 and the graphics card is the ASUS ROG Strix 1080 8gb
  12. Alright, I basically have everything on that list except the CPU, mobo, and ram at the moment
  13. Ahh I see. I'll keep on looking for motherboards but I'm not too sure where to start honestly
  14. Ah I understand that, they have a couple that are lower right now thats why I asked but yeah they do have expensive motherboards
