Hi. I’m hoping someone could help me figure out how to get my laptop working. My laptop got stuck in a boot loop and then when I ran a hardware scan to see if it was a problem with the actual laptop it came back with no issues and now whenever I try to boot it it boots into the hardware scan and comes back with no issues again. If I hit continue after that it reboots into the hardware scan again. Dell support told me they could help me troubleshoot for $130 which is ridiculous. Can anyone help?

I’m going to be adding some more ram and maybe another 1080 to run in sli so I was just going to buy a higher wattage psu just to know I have more than I need.

Okay. That’s what I was starting to think. I think the hdmi I’m using is a little old so I’ll be picking up a new one. Thanks!

Yes. AMD drivers were uninstalled before I put in the new card.

Not everything turns green. Just the game window if I run a lower resolution at full screen. If I play in windowed mode it’s normal.

No, no blue screen. The computer just restarts itself. No issues when I boot up either.

I recently installed a gtx 1080 in my pc. I switched over from amd’s rx 480 and now my computer restarts itself randomly during some games. I deleted the nvidia driver and reinstalled and it seemed to help, but it still restarts if I play modded Skyrim and if I switch my resolution from 4K to anything below it everything turns green. my build: ryzen 7 1700 (with stock cooler) gtx 1080 8gb (factory overclocked at 1848) 1 8gb stick of Corsair vengeance LP ram asus prime b350 plus motherboard 1tb western digital HDD And a slightly older 600w psu. Don’t remember the brand. Anyone know what might be happening or anyone having the same kind of issues after installing a 1080?
