aaronhare got a reaction from Totalschaden1997 in 50$/€ video editing software
I recommended using Davinci Resolve 15 Beta as it's a powerful video editing software that's also free. I used it for a while and I enjoyed it. You could also use Hitfilm which you can get for free however, it crashes a lot for me. Hope this helped, Aaron

aaronhare got a reaction from Shawn3000 in Rebuild or New Build or Upgrade?
I recommend rebuilding the system while reusing the GPU, PSU, and CPU. You would have to consider transferring Windows between motherboards but other than that it should be simple. If you rebuilt then you should be able to have alot more freedom when upgrading! Hope this helped, Aaron

aaronhare got a reaction from Tarun10 in Photo/Negative Scanner??
I would recommend a mail-in photo scanning service. The best one I would recommend is scanmyphotos.com. How it works is that you send in the photos or negatives and they send back a dvd with the photos on them (unless you pay and extra $20 for them to upload them so you can download them). For photos they have options of a $145 prepaid box where you fit as many photos as possible in a box and they scan them all for $145. Another option for photos is their pay-per-scan service where you pay a 16 cents per photo scan. For negatives you can have them scan negatives for 47 cents per frame. I didn't include all the information about the service so I advise you to check out their website here: https://www.scanmyphotos.com/ If you have any questions or comments let me know! Hope this helps, Aaron

Yeah I didn't know you were India. I'm not sure if they can do it from there or not. I wish you the best of luck though!

aaronhare got a reaction from GarageMan in Considering Selling Focus G
I'd say Craigslist since you don't have to wrap it up and ship it. It would just make it easier

The price would depend on the platform you sell it on, the stickers themselves (sticker color vs. case color, the ability to remove it, etc.), any scratches, case color, and the original screws or other information included. I would say you could sell it on craigslist for $25 to $35 and see if you get any offers. You can always have a higher price and see if you get any offers for a lower price.

You can just plug in both the 6 pin and 2 pin to make an 8 pin connector. I learned that when I built my system! Hope this helps, Aaron

aaronhare got a reaction from Vandorlot in USB Headers
Within the blue 16 on the picture attached there is a small label called USB1516. Each one is where the USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 header are located
This is shown in the manual which is located here: https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/SocketAM4/CROSSHAIR-VI-HERO/E12601_CROSSHAIR_VI_HERO_UM_V3_WEB.pdf?_ga=2.182336039.1470922495.1546738785-455947871.1521493389

They are at the bottom. I put a green line under what looks like usb2, but the photo isn't very good so I can't be sure so look at them yourself. USB 2.0 has 9 pins, the 10th one would be on the very edge.

You really want to try and go for dual channel in the system so if possible get 2 stick/dimms. PSU looks fine to me.
128 gig SSD is a bit small and its still SATA so if you can buy a 2.5 inch to save some cash I would. It will get the job done but its definitely a boot only drive.

none of these memory let you use dual channel, so unless you get 2 sticks they are all bad. High frequency is better than lower ones for the price.
Arctic F12 are decent cheap fans

The usb drive is fine. Try plugging any fan into the CPU_Fan header on your board. If you dont have any fans other than the ones on your aio plug one of the aio fans into that slot.
This is one that I used to install windows, and I used the Microsoft tool. Its the same as his.
