  1. Yes, since Black Friday is right around the corner. Im ok with waiting until then, with thr new amd processor dropping, and some Black Friday sales. Maybe I can get a good priced 3000 series. But would you happen to know whats the LOWEST tier Ryzen I can go that would get the job done, as well as the top tier for my task, thats like lil overkill but not crazy? So I can know the range I should be looking in.
  2. I already purchased a 2080 ti for my gaming rig few months back, thats why I put my 1080ti into my streaming pc. I dnt want to use the new encoder to stream, x264 still gives better quality, even though the new encoders chips are good, I still prefer to stream with x264 at slow preset, thats why I want to make sure I can get a capable Ryzen cpu to do that plus a lil more. Since it will eb dedicated streaming pc, I will be able to stream x264 with no issues. I am able to now, but as I said, once I started adding more into obs, my 8600k just isnt "perfect" for the job. I havent even attempted to overlock, but kinda made my mind up. Ryzen, from what I gathered, has gotten super superior, especially when it comes to productivity, so Im ready to convert streaming pc.
  3. The thing is, I will not be gaming+ streaming on this rig, so Im not looking for the "best/fastest gaming cpu". Only looking for the PERFECT cpu for the job I want done. Basically, I dnt want to spend $500 for a cpu BUT only be using $300 worth of it, since Im only streaming, if that analogy makes sense. So I just want the best cpu for my task I need to complete, doesnt need to be the newest cpu, just best for streaming+ multi task things I want to do at same time of streaming.
  4. I currently have a 2 pc setup, with an i5 8600k and 1080ti for my streaming pc.(using x264 and want to continue to use x264) All was good until I started adding more animated scenes, transitions, ect, and now my stream will have minor stutters every so often. No frames drops in obs software or on twitch.inspector, just on the actual stream. I want to be able to stream with Obs preset on slow, as well as record with 4k60 utility while streaming, with discord, browers, open as well so am considering switching streaming pc to Ryzen because they are seeming to be best for my current needs. I' ve never paid much attention to their releases, so in the dark of what best fit for me. Few youtube videos and Im seeing 3600X and 3700X are good price for preformance, but all videos are test of gaming + streaming. Hoping someone here can let me know whats the lowest tier Ryzen I can go to meet my needs with NO issues, as well as what lands in the middle for possible "overkill". Im open for intel suggestions, but from what I gathered, since its just my streaming rig, Ryzen should be the best for my task with best price for performance.
  5. Finally fixed it..After days of googling and all the none working steps the "internet" sugggested, after all the forums and post online I read, I found one person that said it was his graphic cards, that it was bad..But knowing mine was brand new,I figured it wasnt bad, just maybe take out and reinstall..I did just that and instantly it fixed it..Now my pc can shut down properly when i select shut down!!!!??
  6. Havent tried yet. Most likely I will when I get back home but im really trying to fix issue without having to do that
  7. I unplugged the power and reset switch connectors.Still restarted after I shut down. Also my motherboard cant be crashing or anything, because the way my motherboard works is if it crashes or anything, the rgb resets back to solid red, thats something gigabyte did to give us a indication that something with motherboard is wrong
  8. It has a usb connector for the rgb box but I didnt use it.I connected it via the sata port for power it has also.
  9. It cant have anything to do with the new installed "AIO".Like as in its continuely power on motherboard?I plugged radiator fans in CPU_OPT and the pump in hpwr_fan_pump?Cant he related to that at all?Its just weird that it literally started happenning after installation of the water cooler.
  10. I dont know if this is issue, but it started right after.. I installed a Cooler Master AIO yesterday, and every since my pc will not shut down. When I select shut down it proceeds to shut down, but then just restarts itself. Its like I clicking restart instead of shut down...Any help will be greatly appreciated?
  11. Well Im no computer whiz, lol. So Im just throwing out changes I recall. Ok Im omw home now. Will link it here in about 2 hours.
  12. Im using single computer..Im a little baffled at just the "why"its working now but I think I have a idea.Months ago Im pretty sure I overclocked my gpu,but only the core clock, not the memory clock(I had less knowlegde) at that time,so most likely it was a unstable overclock,so that could have been the reason video would freeze and only continue recording audio back then because as much as I can recall, gpu not being overclocked is about the only change in system..Currently I have display port to monitor hdmi from graphic card to capture card and all was good yesterday.. You want me to send you mp4 file of a recording??What methods you have sending large files? Will not work through email.I use,one drive, dropbox or this new app I recently came across called"we tranfer".Its pretty good.Doesnt downgrade the fill at all..Download the app, sign up and send me your email,I will be able to send that way.Or if you have better methods, just let me know. When I get off work will send it over your way
  13. And yes,Im playing AND recording @144fps.Can also stream 1440p @144fps..Its the elgato 4k60pro.Makes it possible
  14. Ok,got it..Adapter cant change speeds of whatever pcie slot it connects to,but it will operate at the speeds whatever that slot is capable of.Thanks, just wanted to make sure a adapter wasnt pointless. My 4k60pro is x4,so i can use riser adapter connected into my pcie x4 slot and it will work, and not be in way of my 2 graphic cards..THANKS!
