  1. This is an old thread, but the problem was that Android TV netflix app didn't allow offline viewing. It was only available for Android phones. I actually ended up getting a cheap tablet + SD card to work as a media centre. So if there are things I can not stream on netflix (due to unavailability), I download it on to my tablet and chrome cast it over.
  2. I have 8700k & 1080 ti cooled in s340 case with EK 240 SE (front) and EK120 SE (back). It's doing okay... 1080ti hits 60C during benchmarking at around 23 C ambient temp.
  3. Hi guys I have been looking around for a wireless mechanical keyboard for a while now. I used to have a wired corsiar red switch keyboard but HATED the thick cable. I switched over to Anne Pro, but I am definitely noticing the bluetooth input lag when I play games, and has a bit of connectivity issues sometimes. I know I can plug it in and use it as wired, but then I get annoyed by the cable and also not the biggest fan of 60% form factor. So overall what I am looking for - Wireless Mechanical Keyboard - minimum input lag (probably prefer something with a dedicated dongle) - dont care too much about battery life or anything - Full size or TKL but not smaller than TKL - Backlit LED is preferred only in white. If its not white, i'd rather have no LED - RGB definitely NOT necessary Options i have looked at - Logitech G613 - Almost ticks all the boxes except the mushy keys and non-removable writ rest (makes the from factor huge and sort of ugly) - Corsair K63 - Almost ticks all the boxes except the hideous blue LED Thanks in advance!
  4. https://keepingit.cool/vue/ Primochill also did a coolant guide page, with full disclosures and lists of known issues. Have a read and see if it suits you
  5. Also If your loop has already had any other coolant in it, primochill does recommend using sysreboot to flush out the old coolants. If you have used Pastel previously they flat out recommend you not to use vue as pastel is not easy to flush out completely. I'd say only go for it if your loop is brand new. This would minimize your risk for sure and also do some google to see if your parts have known compatibility issues with Vue. Writing all this makes me think, it's a lot of effort for sure.
  6. I have one in my loop since end of January and it's still going great. There are definitely a lot of drawbacks though, especially extensive prepping requirement which still does not guarantee it will work, recommendation of less than 8 hr per day use time and fear of clogging that you have to live with every day. In regards to all the negative reviews floating online, people are more likely to voice their opinions if things are not working as expected. I have talked to many people on the Primochill discord where their Vue is working flawlessly since release which gave me enough courage to put it in my loop. I would say go for it if you are willing to put in the effort to prep the system correctly and have enough money (and patience) to dish out for new components in case a of catastrophic failure. Personally though, in a couple of month I will most likely blitz my loop and fill it up with Pastel! Good luck!
  7. Thanks for your suggestions guys. I guess this is the best option for me for now!
  8. As someone said above yes this makes sense, but also still chews up the wifi bandwidth when someone is streaming local contents over wifi. Yes it probably isn't that much if it is 1080p, but i don't want unnecessary use of the wifi bandwidth when I have many devices on the network (smart home stuff). Plus if someone is watching 4k, it might be a struggle for sure.
  9. That seems like the only option for now. Although it does have the disadvantage of taking of the phone's space and chewing up bandwidth streaming 4k between devices. Thanks for this though, I will use this method until I find something suitable. I might also look into the new asus's beefed up raspberry pi to see if I can set if up as a HTPC to download and view those 4k netflix
  10. That is true, but I also don't want to be chewing up the bandwidth when someone is trying to watch a 4k movie, while I'm trying to do something on my comptuer. Also Australian NBN can be sometimes unreliable so why not have them downloaded off peak time when the NBN is very stable and just view them later?
  11. Hi! Just wondering if there is a TV box (Android TV sort of things), that can download netflix shows/movies to view them when offline. The end goal is to - Download 4k (or any quality really) shows and movies during off-peak time (midnight~7am, I have 10tb download allowance/month), - View the downloaded shows during the day without chewing up the bandwidth for my other usual internet uses. I also have 1tb peak time (7am~midnight) allowance (compared to 10tb), so it only seems reasonable for me to just download TV shows and stuff during the off peak time. Thanks in advance!
  12. Thanks for the reply guys I will open up the TV and do a visual inspection to see if any capacitors are swollen or blown. I will replace what I can or take it to the repair shop. If nothing looks off, I guess I will look into getting another board! I'll report back later tonight thanks again
  13. Hey guys I have a Bauhn TV 63 inch 4K TV I got for super cheap but recently it has developed an issue. It was working fine overnight but the next day the TV is just showing Static/Snowy Screen. The menu and the control still works but the displayed image/video is just a static screen through all the video inputs (HDMI, Cable etc). From what I have read it's probably due to a blown capacitor. I will be cracking the TV open after work today but just wanted some guidance before I make a start! Any help would be much appreciated!!
