  1. finally i got everything working. the problem was my psu. i got a new psu and everything is working fine. thanks for all your support.
  2. My monitor is a bit old so it only supports dvi and vga, not hdmi. And yes i have tested it on both hdmi and dvi and got the same results(no output).
  3. No i was only getting the 1400X900 option. After ripping everything off and trying to run on mobo box the output worked and i also got the 1600X900 resolution when the graphics card started to work suddenly. But after a few seconds i got corrupted display. And after restarting it appeared at the start screen. And after giving up on it and putting it back in case it stopped working again. I don't know what the heck is going on with my system.
  4. Okay so i got my card replaced and i m still facing the same problem. I think the problem is with my monitor It is showing black borders of about an inch on both sides (pic attached). And also the resolution of screen has changed from 1600X900 to 1400X900. There is no 1600X900 in the resolution menu. This pic is when i m running on onboard graphics. And also i device manager it is now showing my monitor as microsoft basic display adapter and not smb2030.
  5. i checked and none of the ports are damages physically. i tried running it on hdmi on my tv and it outputs a solid green colour with no hdd activity. so the warranty on my card is applicable. right ?
  6. by dumb i ment u to know that i have done the basic procedures like checking driver update, plugging and unplugging peripherals, etc. so now the situation after ripping everything off, cleaning them and plugging them back is that the card is detected, i unstalled all the drivers using DDS and installed them back. Display from mobo is working fine. But still no display from graphics card. so should i assume that my card is dead ?? and a wierd thing also happened. the max resolution of my monitor is 1600X900 but right now its showing 1440X900. i dont know why !!
  7. no i dont and also i m not that dumb about computers (XD) (no offence)
  8. i just bought it on 3rd of this month how can it die in just 20 days??
  9. i tried it but still no luck. no output from graphic card
  10. This is how this happened: when i turned on my pc, it worked fine for some time, about 10 mins. but after that the screen showed a solid white color. then i restarted my system and was watching LTT video on yt and again it happened but this time the color was green and audio was fine (on headphones). then i turned off the pc and worked on my laptop. in the evening when i turned on the pc i did the same thing back and after 2-3 restarts it stopped outputting video. my mobo display is working fine but output through dvi port is not working on gtaphics card. pc specs: core 2 quad q8400 6 gb ddr3 in dual channel 250gb hdd INNO3D gtx 1050ti. mobo: asrock g41m-vs3
  11. so after smashing my head on desk, installing and uninstalling drivers, turns out that the sound card on my board has blown i don't know how. i went to a nearby shop bought a cheap usb to audio card and it worked. thanks to all u guys for helping anyway.
  12. i just got my first graphics card (gtx 1050ti) yesterday. before graphics card was there audio was working fine on motherboard jack but when i plugged in the card there is no audio from the jack. i m using the dvi port on the card and my monitor does not have a jack or hdmi (its old). is there anyway i can use the audio ports of my motherboard ?
