Hey guys, I couldn't find a thread specifically on workstations. I'm just looking for some input on what to use in my workstation build. I always bought workstations already built and I thought I would build my own to save some money.
This has to be a relatively quiet computer since there's a lot of people in the office and it gets quite noisy when everyone's working on a big project. So here's my list
Budget: roughly 3000$CAD, give or take 500$Location: The great white north, Canada. Probably off amazon.ca or newegg.caSpecific Use: Autocad, Revit, Plant3D, Naviswors, Inventor, Advance Steel, Solidworks. so mostly 3D design/modelling with pretty massive files, close to almost 10 000 parts
Components: I'd like to stay with an Asus motherboard and G.Skill memory but I'm open to any suggestions.
Graphics: Either a NVIDIA Quadro P Series or AMD Radeon Pro Wx, not too sure which is the best for my application. From reviews, both are great.
Case: Fractal Design Define R6
This budget is for only the computer and not peripherals.
Thanks guys
