For 300 its a steal. For rendering its not really. A great cheap gaming rig but for rendering it will be pretty slow.  The i5 is not your friend in that case and the 770 could def be upgraded. Gaming i give it a 7/10 workloads and rendering  3/10
Price to performance 9/10

It's probably due to the cards' better compute performance.

Thats right. They are over 140% better in etherium mining but struggle to even pass the gtx 1080 and 1080ti in gaming by 20% (oh btw ethereum dosent even have a driver for the new architecture and its preforming that well.)
 
I thought nvdia said they were going to focus on the gamer. (Guess crypto miners gave them more money)

Install win server and try multipoint then. It has some issues with games.
 
Also windows server keys for 20 aren't legit, the real keys start at around 500, but the trial is about 180 days.

For a boot drive.  Nobody thinks there's no difference when loading games with large files.  It won't generally won't give you a higher frame rate, but it will absolutely help with copying those textures to your VRAM.

Did you even look to see if Linus didn't already have a video documenting how to do this exactly.
