  1. Hi and TIA. I built my computer in Oct 2018 and haven't made any modifications since. I was writing an essay this evening when I got a BSOD. It said DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL and that the driver that failed was amdkmdag.sys. The BSOD was stuck on 95% for a few minutes so I forced a shutdown to try to restart. It did not restart. When I try to power it, my fans spin and lights turn on, but my keyboard lights don't turn on, there is no output from GPU or mobo graphics. I also have the windows startup sound enabled for troubleshooting reasons like this, and it is not playing. I tried power cycling it with unplugging the PSU to no avail. Please let me know what I can do. Thanks
  2. You're right lol, i wasn't really paying attention im sorry.
  3. Yes this will be an auxiliary pc. do you have any recommendations for mobo? I didn't realize that. what about this corsair psu https://pcpartpicker.com/product/3hkwrH/corsair-power-supply-cp9020102na ? thanks
  4. @Shrekpad's build is good but i would add a boot ssd, you can get a generic m.2 ssd from microcenter for cheap. I have a 128gb one and it works great but i would HIGHLY recommend a 256gb one https://www.microcenter.com/product/600419/inland-premium-256gb-ssd-3d-nand-m2-2280-pcie-nvme-30-x4-internal-solid-state-drive
  5. Hi, My friend gave me a few components a while ago so I figured I'd build a PC for my woodshop. I'd probably use it for drafting plans and CAD because I have fusion 360. Please that a look at the list and tell me what you think. 6. Hi all, I hope everyone is well and staying safe, This drive (F:) was a windows 10 installer made with the Microsoft software. I formatted it and was left with 2 volumes, 29GB unallocated and 25GB of the windows installer (or something like that, I don't remember). I deleted the 25GB volume with the intention of combining the two unallocated and creating 1 volume. I am now left with all this unallocated space and the "New Simple Volume" button that I planned on pressing does nothing (neither does "properties"). If anyone knows how to fix this please let me know because this was my favorite USB drive (It's got USB-C on 1 end and USB-A on the other). Thank you and stay safe, itchkowb
  7. Due to the rise of Off-Site learning and the hysteria attributed to the pandemic, I need a webcam for school. If anyone has any ideas/suggestions or knows the right place to point me, please reply. Thank you

  11. You should be fine with the PSU, i'd still use it. And it really depends on the 1070ti, the 1060ti is a great card, so you should be ok, i think
  12. I'd suggest the Corsair H100i v2, so you can overclock and really take use of the k cpu. how old is old for the psu? and as far as i know, windows 10 can only be on 1 machine, but 7 and maybe 8 could have been re-installed with the product key. if its in your budget, how do you feel about a 1070ti?
  13. I'm new to python, so I wanted to do a easy project to get some practice. I decided on a calculator that determines if you're of the age to drink alcohol. I'm in the US, so it's 21. I have the user input part working, but when it comes to the calculating part, I'm having some trouble. If anyone knows how to help or has some good resources, I'd be very appreciative. Here's my code: current_year = 2019 alchohol_consumtion_age = 21 print("--------------------------------------") print("~~~~~~DRINKING AGE CALCULATOR~~~~~~~") print("--------------------------------------") patron_year = input("What Year Were You Born In, My Friend? ") print("Ok, so you were born in " + patron_year) patron_day = input('And what day might you have joined us on earth? ') print("Ahhhh, the " + patron_day) print("I had a cousin, who was born on the very same day! What a small world it is") print("what a small world, indeed") if current_year - int(patron_year) = < alchohol_consumtion_age: print("Tsk, Tsk, no alcohol for you") else: print("It's Beer O'Clock, my dude or dudette") print("Drink Responsibly") print("-------------------------------------") Also, whenever I run it, I get this error: Thanks (also if i left out any info im sorry, i didn't know what to and what not to post)
  14. alright thanks, thoughts on the monitor?
  15. I think It'll be easiest if he uses the pre-soldered cables on both connectors, and splice and solder them in the middle, how would he connect the wires in that picture?
  16. I don't know if you know this but here are the pinnouts for Type A (the one for your PS3) and Type Micro B (Your OTG port)
  17. yes, just make sure your solder joints are good and the wires are spliced, and not touching
  18. I don't know what your CPU cooler is but you could over clock and get an AIO. I have a Corsair H100i v2 and it works great. GPU upgrade as @SenpaiKaplan mentioned and an SSD if you want
  19. Also are you guys on Eastern Standard Time? I'll try to coordinate time zones (I'm in EST)
  20. Hey @BLLDoesTech @AKinsey2468 @LukeSavenije sorry this is so late but I've had a lot of tests. Anyway, here's the monitor sleeper monitor.zip
