  3. Hi, I got a working be quiet psu for free from a friend, but there’s one thing I don’t understand.. When flipping the switch on the psu the fans spin for around 2 minutes en than stop. Same thing happens when the pc is just turnt off. Does anyone know if it’s a defect or a feature? btw it’s a bqt p5-420w-s1.3
  4. Hi everyone, I was wondering if there was something like a program which visualizes sound with a human face.. Since i have google assistant on my pc with python it would be cool if it looks like a real human is talking. It looks to me that the easiest way is just that it visualizes all the sound from the soundcard. Thanks in advance
  5. Well maybe a weird question, but at the moment I have a gtx 1080 as well as a rx 470 (both 8gb) installed in my system. And I was wondering if there's a game which can utilize both cards at the same time. Some people say the vulkan api can?
  6. I had this problem once too, it was due to some dust in the cpu socket. If reseating the ram doesn't work maybe try taking out the cpu and dust out the socket..
  7. It's in his aida report file, its a asrock FM2A55M-VG3 with an ami bios
  8. http://www.bioscentral.com/beepcodes/amibeep.htm This could help? Maybe this will help you find the problem. All american megatrends bios' have the same beep codes right? Please someone correct me if i'm wrong
  9. i tried hwmonitor, task manager (-:, hwinfo, aida64
  10. Benchmarks are 25% lower, but with general use not noticeable
  11. msi b360m-pro vdh i bought the cpu from azerty, it's a big dutch computer parts reseller (https://azerty.nl/)
  12. This is weird one... As soon as I do something on my pc, the CPU usage goes instantly to maximum (100%). So literally with everything, even if you only switch on caps lock. I have also tried other Windows installations but nothing seems to help. In linux the same thing happens ... Does someone know what's causing the problem? ps. bios update didn't work either...
  13. Saving money on a psu is never a good idea....
  14. Maybe don't even try molex to 8 pin and just save money for a psu lol
  15. I guess there's one way to find out, isn't there? - Linus Sebastian
  16. yeah I would definitely recommend a 80+ rated one. I use the corsair vs650 and it has never let me down (-:
  17. It would work, but only if the 12v rail has enough power to drive the gpu. My only point of concern is that the molex cables usually aren't made for such heavy load, so they could melt or something. But a reasonable power supply which can handle the 1070 and the rest of your hardware is definitely a good idea..
  18. Hi! I gave a mid 2010 macbook white lying around which I got for free. And I can get a med 2009 model for 20 euros. But since the 2010 shell is just completely destroyed, can I swap the motherboard from the 2010 case to the 2009? Btw the 2009's logicboard doesn't work Regards
  19. Hey! I had the same problem with my x5650. The bottom of the cpu was damaged. I mean like missing things under the cpu. I've desoldered them from another cpu. I hope your case isnt as complicated
  20. Hey thanks for your reply, my macbook does have a 120gb sata ssd and a 320gb crashed hdd in the drive bay. And i am using mac fan control so the fan will immediately ramp up to 6200rpm (max)
  21. Already did so... I took the whole motherboard out and cleaned it, new thermal paste but still it gets this hot
  22. Yeah I know lol that's the reason why it's throttling but what I wanted to ask is why it runs so hot
  23. Hey! I am using my early 2011 13inch MacBook Pro for 1,5 year now. And suddenly it starts throttling like hell. I mean like it doesn't even get below 100*c. I've tried replacing the thermal compound (coolermaster high performance) Does anyone know why it's doing this? Btw it's a i5 2415m running dosdude's mojave patch (it does the same thing in stock high sierra) edit: i know it's throttling because it's 100*c but i wanted to ask why it would get so hot
  24. Hey Guys! I have an Apple TV 1 running kodi, I really love the device but I don't like kodi (osmc). The original software isn't een option either. I really like Android TV but I still wanna keep my Apple TV, is it possible to run on a Apple TV? Thx
