  1. I am trying to get two external monitors to work on a my HP Laptop (Ubuntu 19.10 installed) via HP Port Replicator 3500pr. Port replicator has one HDMI port and another DisplayPort. My laptop has an HDMI port only. So, total three external monitors. I have latest DisplayLink drivers installed on Ubuntu. But for some reason, I can't make it work at all. Only one external monitor works attached directly via HDMI port on the laptop. Both of the other monitors are detected in the Display Settings but no video output, they are just black all the time. Any ideas what should I do? I also tried the same setup on Windows 10. The HDMI monitors show up and video outputs fine but the DisplayPort monitor (attached via Port Replicator) does not output any video.
  2. I am not sure if any one already recommended this or not, but I use alternativeto.net heavily when it comes to find suitable, community recommended OS software. P.S. I am not related to the website in any way, just thought it might help
